BEST AMONG VICKSBURG, MS HOTELS ON THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER The Vicksburg National Military park is only a few blocks away. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District is across the street. Located just off I-20, the Holiday Inn Express Vicksburg hotel welcomes guests with a cozy fireplace, friendly service, and modern guest rooms and suites. We're close to locally owned and operated eateries allowing guests to easily make dinner plans. Corporate travelers appreciate easy access to a business center with copy, fax, print service and a computer, along with free Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel. We also have a meeting room for up to 50 people. Lodging with us in Vicksburg is made easy with an array of amenities like a refreshing, outdoor pool and a fitness center. Stop in and enjoy the free Express Start breakfast bar with cheese omelets, bacon, sausage, pancakes and Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls. Hinds Community College is only 2 miles from the hotel and Alcorn State University is only 40 miles from the hotel. Costly for what you get. Comfortable beds and temp in room. Nice lighting and big tv. Breakfast options are good. Cleanliness of the bathroom needs work! Room a little worn, carpeting around the ac torn. One elevator. Internet didn’t work at all my entire stay and when I called down there was no solution…it stormed and it was just out and that’s it. Noisy from housekeeping throughout the morn/day and other guests at other times. 2nd stay here since contracted to the area.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Remington, Indiana is located 25 miles north of West Lafayette, the home of Purdue University. We stayed here before, years ago; pre covid. There was a college graduation and ball games in town, and a week before our stay, our local family booked this for us. It was nice, years ago. This time, not.King room with a fold out couch. The couch belonged in a landfill. The seat covers were torn and covered with a towel like stretch material. The fold out was disgusting. Springs sticking through and no mattress pads or bedding. We got sheets and a cover and pillows and slept on the seat. Lighting is poor. Decor on walls was non-existent, Totally. There was material from a previous guest left in a cabinet. Master bedroom was bare wall and only a very small set of drawers. No place for a suitcase or other. Two very dim bedside lights with the only switch on the light. Baseboard carpet was falling off the walls. We had less towels than people, so we asked for more. They gave us bath mats! There were several black areas in the shower. We stayed several nights. We asked the front desk at breakfast for the room to be made up and fresh towels. We returned that evening to the room untouched. Trash cans not emptied, bed unmade and towels wet and on a stack. We were charged a "We're almost sold out, so we raised our rates", exorbitant rate. We deserve a refund or compensation. Hopefully not a re-stay at this facility.

Walking distance away from the Kentucky Exposition Center, Freedom Hall and Cardinal Stadium , all with in 1 mile from the hotel. The Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park is just located across the street from the hotel 0.5 mile away. Several businesses are within 5 miles, GE, Ford, UPS, Yum, Humana, and many more. The University of Louisville and Bellarmine University are just within 5 miles. Downtown Louisville and the Yum Center are just 5 miles away. No AC in our room

The AC wasn't working in our room. I didn't realize this until we were going to bed. I tried calling the front desk, but only received a busy signal. The days were cool, so it wasn't terribly warm. I gave up and just went to bed. However, it was a little too warm and I didn't sleep well.

Très mauvais hôtel neuf, personnel peu sympathique

Nous avons été accueillis par un monsieur peu aimable, qui ne nous a donné aucune explication, se contentant de prendre notre carte bancaire pour une caution et de nous faire régler le parking. Car oui, le parking n’est pas inclus dans le prix de la chambre ; il faut ajouter 15 $ supplémentaires, même si nous ne l’avions pas remarqué lors de la réservation. Certes, c’est notre erreur. Mais qui fait payer un parking dans un hôtel, d’autant plus lorsqu’il n’est même pas surveillé ? Quelle honte !
La propreté laisse également à désirer : dès notre arrivée, nous avons trouvé dans la salle de bains de longs poils semblables à des cheveux, ainsi que des parois sales. Et la chambre donner avec la ventilation sur le couleur pile sur notre chambre donc du bruit en continu.
Le petit déjeuner est inexistant, servi avec de la vaisselle jetable. Dire qu’il est en option… Ne prenez surtout pas la peine de le réserver ! Il est presque vide et n’est jamais réapprovisionné.
Pour résumer, nous avons été extrêmement déçus par cet hôtel. Nous avons séjourné plus d’une dizaine de fois dans des Holiday Inn, mais celui-ci est de loin le pire. Au vu de la bâtisse récente, nous ne le recommandons absolument pas.

False advertising and stealing

Upon arrival at the hotel noticed there was no parking, parking lot was under construction, parking spaces were occupied with gravel rocks and tractors. Had to park on street. Rooms smelled moldy and the hotel had no available rooms to accommodate, another guest from our party had the same issue with mold smell and was moved to another room. Outdoor pool was freezing cold and pool bathroom was used as a storage room for landscaping tools, leaf blowers hoses etc.
checked out after 1 night and checked my statement to find that they purposefully credited me the original reservation price I made for $248.01and re-charged me $348.01, the added $100 on top of the original reservation price. INSANE… my buddy was also overcharged.

Terrible Property

Hotel is run down, dirty, and the elevator worked only half the time! Our shower was so dirty and gross we didn’t use it and had to sponge bathe! The hotel it’s self stunk!!!! We def will NEVER stay at this property again!

Poor Hotel Service

My wife and I recently stayed for two nights at the Holiday Inn Express in Easton, Pennsylvania, and I have to say this was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences we’ve ever had. After spending our first day out at a family reunion, we returned to our room only to find that it had not been cleaned. No fresh towels, no trash removed, no bed made—nothing. I was shocked. I immediately called the front desk to ask why our room hadn’t been serviced, and the receptionist casually told me that if we wanted the room cleaned, we were supposed to notify the front desk in advance. Really? We’re not in the middle of a pandemic anymore. Why was this policy never mentioned at check-in? At the very least, we should have been informed.
When I asked for towels and mentioned the overflowing trash cans, she told me, “I can take it,”—as if this was a favor, not standard service. A few minutes later, she knocked on our door with just two towels. No trash bags. Nothing else. So I asked for toilet paper. She said she’d bring it soon.
Two hours later, still no toilet paper. I had to call the front desk again. A different staff member finally came to our room with one roll of toilet paper and a single trash bag—only for one of the two trash cans.
This level of service is unacceptable. The lack of basic housekeeping, the dismissive attitude from the front desk, and the complete absence of proactive communication made our stay stressful and unpleasant.
I’m sorry, but I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. You need to seriously rethink your service standards.

Too many issues !

First when I arrived the automatic door on the first floor was not functioning properly had to slide through to get towards pool . After several days still not repaired .

Takes 15 mins for me to get hot water for shower ..That's too long.

Told front desk about leak in sink and was never repaired fair amount of water under sink on the floor =each time I used it ..Used towels to absorb.

The telephone never worked in the room brought it up to the front desk but they kind of had the attitude of well.

Disappointed with this Location

We have stayed at other Hotel Indigo locations and this one was a bit disappointing. The location is not very handicap accessible, no ramp at the front to unload and there are stairs. On the first floor we had to climb up more stairs to get to our wing. The pool was a bit dirty and the hot tub was not hot at all and dirty. There was also no coffee pods, only decaf, in the entire hotel, they were out. The staff was fantastic as was the breakfast. Will never stay here again, appears to be a Home Depot corporate crash pad.
