After four consecutive years, we won’t be coming back.

After attending for four consecutive years with my entire sales team, this was by far our worst experience. The smoke detector alarm went off nonstop at 4:30 a.m. due to a low battery, and the front desk told us nothing could be done until Monday because it was the weekend. There are no safes in the rooms, which is a poor decision given there’s no secure place to store valuables. The breakfast was terrible. All the ice machines—one per floor—were out of order. On top of that, we were charged $10 per day for parking, even though we didn’t have a car. All six of us were very disappointed, and we’ve decided we won’t be coming back.

I had a pretty bad experience with the housekeeping team until their manager told me this hotel is four stars, not five stars. Then it made more sense. The lack of turndown service and minimum help with laundry made more sense I think, not sure because I don't usually stay in four stars hotels. It's my fault for asking for five star service in a four star hotel, but you guys advertise as a five star hotel on Google (maps).
The team seems poorly trained overall, I had to recommend what to do and explain my situation to them. For example I arrived in the morning (international flight) to book a room and there was another mess there with the booking and checking my luggage all the way downstairs. Everything had to be done myself, though this was before I was alerted this is a four star hotel.
