Welcome to the Candlewood Suites Midwest City, conveniently located near Tinker Air Force Base and SSM Health.
With a full kitchen in our spacious suites, you can enjoy a home cooked meal or browse our Candlewood Cupboard for breakfast, lunch and dinner items to help maintain your diet on the road. Our Lending Locker is stocked and available for you to enjoy the amenities of home such as a crock pot, waffle maker, George Foreman Grill, blender, juicer, toaster oven and much more! Guests can also use our Gazebo grill to cook out with colleagues or family members.
We have a variety of restaurants and shops within walking distance such as Buffalo Wild Wings, Ted’s Café Escondido, The Garage Burgers and much more.
Guests can enjoy our 24 hour complimentary guest laundry facilities and Fitness Center. Our outdoor pool is open Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.
Our Midwest City extended stay hotel is located south of I-40 and Sooner Road, minutes away from Downtown Oklahoma City - Bricktown and companies such as Boeing, Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin.
We are a pet friendly extended stay hotel near Oklahoma City. Bring your furry member of the family along with you. Pets are allowed with a non-refundable fee. 75 dollar charge for 1 to 6 nights and up to 150 dollar charge for 7 plus nights. Pets must weigh less than 80 lbs. Whether traveling on business or leisure travel, Consider us home!

Good location

Location was away from traffic and close to good dining. Check-in experience was odd. I was given an occupied room. Then had to stay on first floor next to elevator with exterior lighting shining directly into the room.

Decent Stay, But We Won’t Be Back

We stayed here for one night before an early flight. We got in around 8 p.m. and were bummed to find the restaurant already closed, even though it was supposed to be open until 9. One of the reasons we pick Holiday Inns is for the convenience of having an onsite restaurant, so that was a letdown. Thankfully, I’d read some reviews that mentioned this, so we grabbed food on the way just in case.
Check-in was fast and the front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the layout felt kind of strange and a bit dated. The shower in particular felt like a tiny closet. Nothing that ruined the stay, just a little weird.
The bigger issue was the area. It felt off from the moment we arrived. The parking lot had maybe seven cars in it, and the hotel sits next to a vacant field. It was really dark and kind of eerie. At one point when I went out to my car, a vehicle pulled up and someone inside gestured for me to come over. I didn’t engage and just went back inside. That car sat outside for another 10 to 20 minutes before driving off. The whole situation made me feel pretty unsettled.
Honestly, the hotel itself was fine for what we needed: clean, decent room, helpful staff. There were renovation signs up in the lobby, so maybe some things are being updated. But the combination of the restaurant being closed and the sketchy feel of the area means we probably wouldn’t stay here again

This is not a real hotel

Based on what I saw and heard, this hotel is clearly acting as a refugee center or a men's halfway house. It's riddled with pot odors and I didn't feel safe. The room was old and in bad shape but was clean at least. Regardless I set my alarm early to get out as fast as I could.

For local tours, the Idaho National Laboratories and Melaleuca World Headquarters are conveniently located near our hotel. If you're looking for fun Bear World, Yellowstone National Park, Lava Hot Spring and Jackson Hole located outside Idaho Falls. Want something local? Look no further than our East Idaho Aquarium, Idaho Falls Zoo, Chinese Garden, Art Gallery and Museum of Idaho. Was given the wrong room, pre-paid for a 1 bedroom 2 queen suite was given a regular room with 1 king and told that was the right room and that they were booked up and didn’t have any other options. Not offered any solutions or discounts, typical bait and switch, paid $350 for a 1 bedroom given a $150 room, brutal!

Never go to this hotel

I had a very disappointing experience at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The cleanliness was far below acceptable standards — the room was dusty, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, and common areas looked neglected. The service was extremely slow, whether it was check-in, room service, or housekeeping — everything took much longer than it should have. On top of that, the staff were unprofessional and unhelpful, showing little interest in guest comfort or resolving issues. Overall, this hotel did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend staying here
