Horribe Stay

I am disappointed in the stay did not meet any standards that the company presents. Upon initial contact with hotel entering to check in Hayley was very short not friendly barely acknowledge it almost felt as if she did not want to assist an African American person to say the lease I seen her interact multiple times with Caucasian guest they had a different experience. Next upon entering in room 306 needs to be renovated on the pictures it was clean a little outdated but clean. Upon entering the carparts were filthy, the room was full of dust, the toilet was nasty not cleaned at all. The AC unit and curtains appeared to have mold on it along with ants on the window. When I asked about cancelling room to look for another hotel advised that i would be charged the full fee which means I lost out on money this is disappointing as a company and consumer that my experience was felt unwelcomed and not accomdated for $275.00 it was a complete waste I would not recommend I hope in the future that this hotel gets major renovations as it should not be opened to book.

Choose a different place to stay

I was there on a 14 day extended stay my first room was never cleaned. I contacted the front desk. I was told they were short on staff. When I told them about the tobacco pouch that was stuck to the wall, it was only then that they moved my room. Neither of my rooms were cleaned during the day once again in my second room when I was told it was to be cleaned that day once I returned, I went, and I spoke with the front desk of all my room still not being cleaned. I was told they were shortstaffed. Once I contacted IHG customer relations. I was told that the manager would reach out to me the manager never once reach out to me to help me fix my issues. I contact the guest relations again. Guest relations was told by the hotel manager that they tried to contact me, which was a complete lie. Please choose somewhere else to stay.

Rooms are incredibly tiny.

We were upgraded to a suite on the highest floor of the hotel, so we felt really excited based on the desk agent saying people LOVE the room, etc. The room was about the size of my thumb nail. Incredibly small with fixtures that did not work well and difficult to regulate the temperature. Certainly far off from what we thought it'd be.

Very dirty room. Noisy refrigerator which couldn’t sleep. We travel a lot due to volleyball tournaments and this by far has been the worse experience.

convenient location and accessibility

Rick salvaged hotel chain reputation. I have also booked Holiday Inn Vancouver for 19-21 April 2025 so hope service is better.

My past IHG stays were not reflected in member portal so guess I lost those rewards.

Gone down hill since my extended stays in 2022

Refrigerator in 129 went out twice and ruined my food. Dog poop everywhere in grassy locations of hotel. Very difficult to open door of 129. Furnace Fan was so loud in the room it was difficult to hear TV.

Comfort is not a thing

From front desk to room quality, stay somewhere else

Later check in, rude front desk staff, requested a room AWAY from elevator, was given a room NEXT to an elevator, back to the delightful front desk staff, treated rudely to have room changed. Once in room, found tv remote taped together and not working, bathroom sink drain not working and sink backed up, bed work out and uncomfortable. Based on time of day, and rude staff, stayed in this room. I used some of my points for this stay and if Holiday Inn has any interest in keeping me as a longtime customer, they should refund my points. If you're traveling in this Columbus area, plan on staying ANYWHERE else so you're not disappointed.
