The worst Holiday Inn Express I’ve stayed in

This Holiday Inn Express is worst one I’ve ever stayed in. While the front desk service was fine, the overall stay was not.
The bathroom had clear signs of neglect—there was visible mold along the crevices of the sink, and it didn’t seem like strong cleaning products (like bleach) had been used. The tissue holder was broken, and the faucet was loose. On top of that, the room had an unpleasant smell, possibly from the carpet or rug.
The breakfast was especially disappointing—not only was it very limited, but you had to pay for it, which made it even more frustrating. It felt like a weak continental breakfast with hardly any variety.
Another issue was the shared soap, shampoo, and lotion dispensers in the bathroom. I don’t think it’s sanitary to expect guests to use the same containers that have been touched by countless people. Hotels should provide disposable, individual toiletries for proper hygiene.
Overall, I won’t be returning and I do not recommend this hotel.

There are no multi-room "suites" here!

Let's start with the good stuff: breakfast was fine, cleaning was decent, and the desk staff were EXCELLENT! Now, let's move on to the not good. NUMBER ONE: THERE ARE NO MULTI-ROOM SUITES AT THIS LOCATION! According to the dictionary, a "suite" is a collection of matching things, usually rooms together. Really this is unforgivable. They advertise a "suite", as being different from a "standard room" but when you arrive, you find there is no such thing. I asked the desk staff about it, and they said that I was not the first to complain about this. They let me know there were no rooms like that on the property. Why does Holiday Inn Express & Suites advertise "suites" when there are none??? Inexcusable. Anyway, just be aware of what you're actually getting for you money. All of a sudden, it's not nearly the bargain you thought it was. I definitely did not get what I thought I was buying, and had I known that, I would have stayed elsewhere. On to the other problems. The sound isolation in the rooms is OK, but not great. Depending on your neighbors, and their TV habits, you might need earplugs at night. The bathroom door was one of those huge, hanging, sliding barndoor things. Ours was out of its track, and too heavy to move back. Basically, bang-bang to open, and bang-bang to close. It didn't really close, as such. So forget about entering quietly at night, or having much privacy in the bathroom when you're in there. The entry door interior peephole cover was damaged, so you could NOT cover the peephole for privacy. Finally, there were several holes in the ceiling and walls that had been used for hanging things, but were not patched. Not a big deal, but it makes you wonder what kind of maintenance is done at that location. From what I could tell - not much. We will only return if there is nowhere else in the area to stay. Which is very unlikely.

We're conveniently located right off I 79 and close to downtown Pittsburgh. Also, we are only about13 miles away from the Pittsburgh International Airport, which is a quick drive and you will have a nice and quiet, comfortable stay.
For our business travelers we are located close to the Universal Stainless, Anderson Equipment, Arbon & All-Pak plus the Abele and Bursca Business Parks and many more. Bridgeville is a short drive from downtown Pittsburgh & Southpointe offices. Our business-oriented travelers stay productive in the well-appointed, 24-hour business center with fax, copy & printing services. We have a 400-sq ft. meeting room with seating for 25.
But we are not only all about the business. Lack of maintenance creating a Horrible shower experience. Coffee pot didn’t work correctly

The first night, after working all day, we arrived at the Holiday Inn express, I got undressed and prepared for a shower, turned the shower on and nothing but hot water came out. When I tried to adjust it, it would not adjust so the shower head just sat there blasting hot water until the bathroom was filled with steam. My wife also tried to adjust it with no luck.
We called the front desk and the person on duty that night said he would switch our rooms. So I had to get re-dressed pack all of our things and proceed to the replacement room. The room was labeled as a suite. It was not a suite it was a handicap accessible room. The shower head would not adjust to angle downward and just shot directly across the shower and slowly crept down the mounting system blasting water straight at you as it went from your head to your waist. I finished my shower having to hold the shower head in my hand. Water ran out of the shower all over the floor saturating the floor mat / towel. I told the front desk about it and had to again change rooms. The second night and third room into our “vacation”. When we woke the next day very tired and stressed, the coffee maker was not working correctly so we had to go to and get coffee from the breakfast area. Because of all the problems and restless nights we slept in a little bit and by the time we went to get breakfast (10:02 AM) the breakfast area was totally closed and all we could get was coffee. When we went back on Sunday, which was going to be our last night we decided to cut our vacation short by a day and drive back home to avoid further problems and stress. When I spoke to the girl behind the desk on Sunday, she had said that there were no managers or anybody there to talk to that. I would have to call this week when a manager was there.
I cannot express how unhappy I am with our attempted stay at your facility.

Disrespectful staff

Hotel seemed to be a little run down and little things were obviously needing fixed. 1 of the elevators was out of order. There were no coffee makers in the rooms and asked for one at the front desk and the desk clerk said they don't have any coffeemakers . I do like the Holiday Inn chain of Hotels, but was very disappointed in this location

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Foley is your haven on white sands. Come down South and spend a few days relaxing at our hotel along the Gulf Coast. The areas best shopping, Tanger Outlet Center is within a block from our front door. Our homey accommodations are located minutes from popular area attractions like the Foley Sports Tourism Complex, OWA Amusement Park and Gulf Shores beaches. Tucked away on the Gulf Coast shoreline, our hotel, which is located near Gulf Shores Beach and Orange Beach, is just ten miles away from the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. There are also several nearby Gulf Coast attractions, including Waterville USA water park , The Track Recreation Center and the Gulf Adventure Center. Spend a day with the family sliding down water slides, or go racing on go-karts, which are also close to our hotel. You can take a day to go shopping at the Tanger Outlet Center, just around the corner from our front door. If you are in Foley for business, the Foley Civic Center, UTC Collins Aerospace and Vulcan Materials Company are a short distance from our hotel. If you’re in the area for sports, our hotel is located at the center of all three Sportsplexes, including the new Foley Sports Tourism Complex with only a 5 minute drive. Enjoyed but needs work

Enjoyed the room overall just need a deep cleaning of the carpet and a good mopping one the hall and bathroom. The pool wasn’t open out of service not sure why, but the beds we’re comfortable the tv had lots of options to watch.

Beware if you have allergies!

I had called ahead to request a pet free room but was told this wasn't something offered by property. Within an hour of arriving I had a reaction to pet hair etc on soft furnishings. Sadly sleep wasn't good either due to animal hair/dander cast on bed, which left me wheezing and uncomfortable.
Sadly this means I will no longer choose IHG brand accommodation when travelling as no hotels can guarantee rooms which have not been used by dog owners.
I do not dislike dogs but, unfortunately, have a severe reaction to dog hair/dander.
I can't understand why it is not possible to have a few rooms in every property available for travellers with allergies.
