Noisy, old, small, and no hot water.
Breakfast was minimal and very crowded.
Staff were very nice and tried to help, but when hot water doesn't work there wasn't anything they could to help.

Holiday Inn London Bloomsbury offers a prime central London location with dining, excellent meeting facilities, and complimentary Wi Fi.
Located just steps from Russell Square Tube station on the Piccadilly Line, the hotel provides quick access to major transport hubs King's Cross St. Pancras and Euston stations are both under a mile away and accessible within five minutes by bus or taxi. Heathrow Airport 'LHR' is a convenient 40 minute drive.
Guests are close to popular attractions, with Oxford Street's bustling shops just a 10 minute taxi ride away, and the British Museum's world class collections only half a mile from the hotel. Leicester Square and the West End's nightlife are just an 11 minute tube ride, while family fun at London Zoo is a quick 10 minute cab ride.
The hotel's Academy Conference and Training Suites are ideal for conferences, weddings, or celebrations, accommodating up to 300 guests. A dedicated host, video conferencing capabilities, and included refreshments make planning smooth and stress free.

Hotel Needs Updating

Hotel no longer provides hair dryers so bring your own. Bathtub in deplorable condition and only half of bathroom lights worked - no replacement bulbs on the property. Large hole in screen so could not get fresh air. Previous guest had left shirt on floor so how was it properly cleaned? Owner needs to invest in the hotel as it’s been deteriorating over the years.

Good but not great

I've stayed at this location numerous times. It's starting to age. While the room was good, the shower had zero water pressure and the restroom was just needing a revamp. The room seemed stale and made it hard to spend more time in my room for work.

Worse Experience in 25 years

It's very hard to be labeled the worse experience in 25 years but this property comes pretty close. I have NEVER had a room that I reserved not be ready 4 hours after 3pm. After waiting in line 30 mins (from 615 to approx 645pm) to get to the counter my son was informed that the two beds that I reserved for him was not available, but if he would like he could continue to wait or accept one bed. Already late for the concert he decided to accept the room with only one bed. Because he was traveling with his college roommate this was unacceptable to me so I contacted the Diamond Ambassador line who contacted the front desk and it was agreed that once my son returned from the concert he could change into the room I reserved with two beds. Upon return the front desk informed him that there wasn't another room available and that he'd have to address it with the manager in the morning - which I did. As I explained to her, this is not the level of customer service that I expect from ANY IHG property. To me it's pretty simple..have the room that I reserved with two beds available and this review easily goes from a one star DO NOT RECOMMEND to a different outcome.

This hotel's front desk is not IHG service quality and I feel really sorry to choose them as this stay. I hope it can be approved in the furture. I felt really disppointed and I don't think I will choose it again.

A Modern Killeen Hotel Near The Fort Cavazos Base
You’ll feel at home at the newly renovated Holiday Inn® Killeen – Fort Cavazos hotel. This Killeen hotel near Fort Cavazos features a fitness center, pool with spa tub, and restaurant with bar. We're located one mile from Fort Cavazos’s main gate and just off the Central Texas Expressway, a location ideal for both business and leisure travelers.
Being on Fort Cavazos’s doorstep is especially convenient for government and business travelers. The hotel is 15 minutes from Killeen Fort Hood Regional Airport (GRK), while Darnall Army Medical Center is less than five miles away and Central Texas College less than seven.
A 91-seat meeting facility and free Wi-Fi make the hotel perfect for corporate events or social functions. We also offer a 24-hour Business Center with printing, copying, or faxing services.
Belton and Stillhouse Hollow lakes are both within a half hour’s drive. They provide an excellent setting for fishing, hiking and boating. Low customer service

Staff are usually glued to their phone and don't acknowledge or even notice guests until they are spoken to. They can almost never give a printed receipt at checkout for some reason, they always claim a system error. They never send you an email copy of the receipt like they promise. They don't answer the phone when you call to ask them to send a receipt.

Stay away

The hotel concept is rather cool, the train station integration is unusual. The hotel was under heavy construction when l was visiting for a conference and the passage to my room was like a maze of torn up carpet, lynoleum and workers making it rather hard to get to. After l got to the room, changed clothes and attempted to go the conference area l discovered they the only passage back to the elevator was not completely impassable with lynoleum fully torn up, the floor covered in thick white paint and workers blocking paths. There was no signage to indicate danger or hazard and this l attempted to slowly and carefully navigate the passage. Halfway down l slipped and fell, badly spraining my hamstring and ankle, hitting my hip and ruining my business suit and shoes. I managed to get up and go back to my room, change into basic clean clothes and as the workers saw this they managed to create a narrow passage way for me. I told the front desk what happened, and after a long conversation they agreed to clean my clothes without any interest in or regard for my injuries. I reported the situation to IHG and then the hotel management begrudgingly reached out to me and offered 10k points, which after me pointing out that the situation where l was endangered and physically harmed due to lack of signage, extreme negligence and indifference, disturbing lack of care and is an event that absolutely exposes them to legal liability in an act of what they thought to be insane generosity they offered 20k points. They further suggested that if l was able to provide pictures and doctors report they would pass it on to their insurance, but as l was there to work l did not take the time to document the incident, and thus this was the end of it. At no time did they offer the bare basic courtesy of comping my stay, offering any other assistance or being helpful in any way. Stay at your own risk, understand that the management is not helpful, sympathetic or reasonable and if you get injured or harmed in any way due to their explicit actions and negligence expect to get nothing.
