Ok breakfast but the hotel needs a lot of improvements

I will not stay at this hotel never again, I booked it because it was close to the event that we were attending to, but I would have known I would of reserved something else and drive a little bit further, the room was very very dirty and the bathroom was worse!!!

Terrible Greedy Management

I have been an IHG member for many years. I've stayed in the best and in the so-so's. I always appreciate when I encounter a staff that is welcoming, professional, and fair. This Paris location was by far, one of the worst.
I booked through the IHG reservations (Corporate). I requested (as always) a top floor, single king bed. Was told the corporate rate was about 129.00. When I arrived after driving for hours, I had to wait for the front desk lady to finish her smoke outside the entrance door. Then, without any greeting I was told that my "jacuzzi room" was ready. I said "huh?" Why would I want a jacuzzi room??? She basically told me that oh well, that's what the "system" said I ordered and therefore that's what I was getting. Suddenly my rate shot up to 179$ without any explanation. When I finally spoke to the branch manager, she (after a few minutes of looking at me like I was out to pull some kind of stunt with my complaint), finally agreed to take of a measly 20$. This kind of terrible management and greed makes me seriously miss the days when people actually appreciated those who choose their business. I will never stay at this branch again. Also, the bed had a mattress that must have been 15 years old. I slept like a chocolate in a chocolate box.

Stole my money

A stylish hotel in a Grade II listed building with an art deco restaurant and free WiFi

Good location of the hotel

Location of the hotel is good, close to the airport and with really good connection to city center. Rooms are fine bit dusty . We arrived to hotel around 11pm was gentleman on the reception he did quick check in, show us where to go to the room and that's it. He didn't say anything about hotel, he didn't mention that we have breakfast included and where is breakfast also what time. For me is a lack of communication , I expect more from reception person bit disappointed with that.
Breakfast was good & Breakfast team doing amazing job with caring about customers!
We stay 2 nights and after we check out early morning so on the reception was nights team very helpful with information about taxi, we asked for water so they give to us complimentary what was nice touch! But unfortunately they didn't ask how was our stay. So Front Office should work a bit about customers service.

Katie at the front desk makes the experience amazing
She was also super helpful with all out needs even walking us to the sky walk making sure it was open after the event made sure we knew where everything was and if we were unsure she walked us to where we should be

Consider yourself at home at the Candlewood Suites, Ft. Jackson Columbia. Spacious room but had "roomates"

Room was a nice size...amenities were nice. TV was huge and wifi was strong. However, there was definitely a roach problem. I don't get bothered by one or two, it happens, bit i killed a total of about 7 during my stay. This needs to be addressed.
