Walls are paper thin

There was a softball/baseball tournament of some sort and the walls were paper thin. Children and teens alike rolling in around 10pm. Kids jumping and running around. Loud belching, laughing and showers into the middle of the night. If you’re looking for a great place to have a team stay or are a very heavy sleeper, then this might work for you. We were hoping for a peaceful river view and a good night sleep. We also did not feel super great after eating the rubber eggs and sausage. But room was clean. We’ve slept on more comfy IHG beds before so nothing special there, but wasn’t awful. Staff was never at the desk. Had to wait when we got there and no one was there when we left. We just used the key drop.

Wrong room

On arrival was given room 1102 which didn’t exist. Then correctly given 1112 which was next door to a room of kids throwing a party.
Moved to the fourth floor and over charged by $40 on the second nite. “Was reimbursed”
Lobby had absolutely NO water for Fri nite- Sunday
Did not want to give breakfast vouchers to a Diamond Member. Had to complain to get them.

Room Experience

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. Upon arrival, we discovered that the door to our initial room would not lock. We reported the issue to the front desk, and while they were responsive in moving us to another room, the new room was not up to standard. Unfortunately, it had cleanliness issues, particularly in the tub, refrigerator, and under the cabinets. It felt as though we were relocated quickly without a proper inspection of the replacement room. Due to the condition of the second room, I ended up returning to our original room on another floor just to shower.

Travel for business and it’s nice to stay here. The staff could be friendlier. The cold reception when checking in seems to be a theme since it happens each time we check in.

Cleaning

Cleaning wasn’t good ,someone’s bra found in my room and chips left in our clean sheets when pulled back , dried food all around our bed and someone else’s hair was found in our shower. I have photos of everything as well. Had food and dirt sticking to my feet as I walked into the room and I had to walk with socks because it clearly hadn’t been swept.
Hotel was beautiful but the cleaning and dirty floor of my room was far from clean and was disappointing because the rest of the hotel was beautiful.

IHG Nightmare: Double Charged, Zero Accountability, and Utter Disrespect!

Absolutely appalled by the horrible service I received at this hotel, specifically from the front desk attendant, Angie. Despite clearly showing her my banking statement that I had already been charged, Angie refused to let me into my room until she charged me a second time. Angie still proceeded to double charge me despite upon arrival telling me she already charged me. Not only did this ridiculous mistake cause a significant inconvenience, but it also meant IHG and this hotel held double the funds from my account for absolutely no reason. AND THIS WAS NOT INCIDENTALS!
Frankly, I couldn't care less if this was due to a "system glitch." Your faulty system is NOT my problem, and it's beyond unacceptable that customers have to pay the price for YOUR errors. This was not my mistake, yet I was the one who had to suffer financially.
This is the SECOND time I've booked through IHG and the SECOND time I've been wildly disappointed. Clearly, there's no oversight or accountability within the IHG brand. Rest assured, I will make it my mission to inform everyone I know—and beyond—that IHG is completely unreliable, their brand is absolute garbage, and they have zero regard for their customers, even when they're actively stealing money from them.

Great Staff

I stayed on two separate occasions last week and both stays I was greeted with the utmost kindness and care. I am especially thankful for the work of Baban and Ishan at the front desk Saturday night. I had a small problem with my room and they found a perfect substitution for me and checked in to make sure I was comfortable. A true IHG experience. Nice stay

The hotel is located close to a quick ride share to Globe Life Field, AT&T Stadium, and Six Flags. The hotel exterior and entry foyer are spotless, beautiful, and up to date. The rooms are dated but clean. The restaurant offers buffet-only breakfast service. Good if you want a quick bite to eat, but just an average meal. It would be nice if there were an all-day restaurant, as there are no eateries within walking distance of the hotel, as it is located in a commercial area. I booked the hotel because of the Trolley service to Globe Life Field. The front desk was of very little help and stated it is the city that takes care of the service, so here is a QR code you can book with them. There is signage right at the front door of the hotel for the trolley but no times stated. After a bit of time on the phone I figured out when to get on the trolley and it was a great ride. The front desk even has free tokens when I went back and asked. The trolley is a nice way to see the area. Easy pickup and meet up spots. I just wished the hotel supported it better. A lot of people would have used it if the times were stated.
