Horrible Management

Unprofessional management, staff members unknowledgeable about hotel, not welcoming, will not provide guest services as required. I asked about the spa and was given directions but not made aware it was closed. I asked about happy hour hours and was told there wasn't one, only breakfast. When I arrived from the hospital around 4:30pm there in fact was a breakfast. I was told check out was 9am which I had never been experienced with the IHG brand. I got overcharged and denied refund after 2 minutes of booking my reservation I submitted a date change and was told I would be charged the initial 4 nights and only got to stay 3 nights. Staff never asked me if I was an IHG member and on day 2 of my stay I offered to provide my membership number and was told by management that it's to late to enter my membership number and it has to be made known upon arrival, never thanked for being a mener. Upon arrival I was never asked if I was an IHG member. I received an email from the manager not thanking me for my stay but harassing me and accusing me of trying to take her staff member because I had complemented their customer care. I do have proof of this email if requested.This hotel management is not a good representation of the IHG brand. As a loyal, returning member of the IHG, I recommend if you truly enjoy the IHG properties and the fabulous service they provide... Do NOT stay at this location. The hotel service is not your usual brand hospitality. Breakfast service and selection was fantastic, attendant made my mom feel very welcoming, which was much needed before her UW medical visits.

Comfortable bed and room but a snafu in the morning

We had a mixed experience. The bed, room, and breakfast were lovely. But our stay was marred by a series of calls and pounding on our door at 8 a.m. -- we were still sleeping! -- asking if we'd checked out yet. It seems that's pretty basic--for front desk staff to have the room key or proof that the occupant has left the premises. We were not satisfied with the response when we talked

Leaky and loud

The ceiling, sink, and shower were all leaking. The geese in the pond next to the property made loud noises throughout the night, preventing me from sleeping for more than 20 minutes at a time. The entire room felt damp and had a musty smell. While the staff was friendly and tried their best to help, there was little they could do about the overall condition of the place, which was falling apart. In the lobby, a tarp was hanging because part of the ceiling had collapsed, likely due to a leak.

They need to do better

"We had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the concierge Miles provided excellent customer service, and the maids were friendly and generally did a great job cleaning our room. However, there were several issues that detracted from our stay.
The hotel's management seemed to drop the ball on supplies. The pool was unheated, despite being advertised as heated, and the water was freezing cold. We also struggled to find available towels, which was frustrating since we rely on the hotel to provide them.
The complimentary breakfast was a letdown.
The selection was consistently sparse, even when we arrived early at 7am. We were disappointed to find no bagels, and overall, the offerings were unimpressive. At that point, it might be better to grab breakfast elsewhere, like Waffle House.
We also experienced technical issues with our room keys, which stopped working multiple times a day and required frequent recharging.
Additionally, the hotel had to replace the TV because the original one didn't work.
Overall, these inconveniences led to a disappointing stay, and I'm giving the hotel 1 star. With some improvements to supplies, breakfast, and room amenities, this hotel could provide a much better experience for its guests."

Time to ypdate

I stayed for 1 night and was disappointed with the condition of the hotel. The hotel is in need of refurbishing. The sink basin was cracked, the vanity lights were rusty and one was missing the glass shade. The towel bars were also rusty and the trim on the desk was coming off. For the price/points I would have expected much better. I wasn’t offered any platinum elite benefits.

Needs updating and remodeling

Rooms need to be renovated, wall paper pealing, damaged doors, bath tubs did not drain, smell of marijuana in the elevator, and single pane windows that do not block out the highway and Canadian Geese noise. The noise will wake you up in the middle of the night so don't count on a solid nights sleep. Breakfast is $16 dollars for a buffet, not a great option if you do not need a lot of food. It would be nice if they had some sort of grab go area with coffee. The hotel feels outdated and could use a complete overhaul. I would not recommend staying there currently.

Needs Plenty of Attention

This location is fantastic. Nice curb appeal. This hotel is portly managed and needs plenty of work. The elevator operated poorly. The water pressure was poor. The bathroom faucets were broken and or loose. The air conditioning system did not cool well. It was difficult to get towels to accommodate the number of guest in our room daily. No pool towels. Just the entire experience was not IHG quality. Very disappointed.

Parking issues

The staff was outstanding and room perfect as always. There was a convention going on and they would not allow hotel guest to park in the hotel parking lot. This was a big mishap….there was also no coffee or breakfast in the morning. Staff did not show and we couldn’t even get a simple coffee before checking out. Traditionally I have had zero issues with these hotels. But this location was a huge disappointment.
