Never again

The location is awful the service was hardly pleasant. Who wants to pay for parking when they're staying at the hotel? Especially where its located. Right in the middle of prostitution and drug central. Blue green vacations can count their days. The breakfast was terrible. I've had the continental breakfast before and this didn't even meet the standard. I guess busy weekends get better service.

Noisy and crowded

The breakfast area is crazy small for a hotel of that size. It took me 20min to get downstairs in the elevator Sunday to checkout. The official capacity is 8, but that really means 5-6 with everyone's luggage. It is entirely too small and slow! The walls are thin too - you can hear everything happening in the hallway and rooms on other sides of you even at midnight.
Upon booking, I had requested a fridge due to medical reasons (it is not a standard amenity here), and when I dropped my bag off at noon, I reminded the receptionist of this fact and stressed why it was important. At 6:30 when I formally checked in, one was not in my room. I waited over two hours for it to be delivered and then of course it took longer to get cold. That was completely unacceptable and ruined my evening. It frustrated me to still have to pay an amenities fee after this.

Poor Experience

I ended up leaving early due to lack of safety and unclean rooms. Management said that he would apply the points used to pay for room back to account.

This place needs help

The elevator didn’t work right. The door took 4 tries and the alarm going off until it closed so had to walk up 3 flights with gear. The front desk guy was exceptionally rude and no help. The only plus was the maid who showed me to the correct floor after bad information and the maintenance guy that finally got me a new working room. Never again here.

This Redding Hotel is Near the Shasta Cascade Region. The Holiday Inn® Hotel and Convention Center Redding, is centrally located within Shasta County businesses and attractions, offering the perfect location for corporate and leisure travelers alike. A Little Disappointed

I was a little disappointed in this facility. The door locks did not work and all doors were unlocked. Just a slight inconvenience however. The breakfast was the worst of any Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed at. Very small and did not have the features or food choices that all other stays had. Orange Juice machine did not work. I will not stay at this one again.
The AC in the room was very quiet, much quieter than most facilities and allowed good sleep, except the fire alarm went off at 11:30 pm. At least we know it works.

My guess is most people don't stay at this hotel for the hotel itself but are more interested in the location (for work). This is the most average hotel you can think of. Clean rooms and friendly staff, but worn down interior. WiFi is not the best but works.

It was alright.

Spend the extra few dollars and go somewhere else. It was fine other than it was in a pretty ghetto area. The pictures make the hotel seem a lot safer/nicer location than it is. And also I paid for a room with two Queen beds and the beds were fulls. It’s not much of a difference but it is when sleeping with a child and another person.

Old and dirty carpet

The carpet was very dirty with a lot of stains. However, location is convenient as is directly located next to Sloterdijk station.

Check in nightmare

No one was manning the hotel when we came to check in. I ended up calling corporate at 2:30am and they attempted to contact the manager of the hotel who then called the person supposedly on duty at which time she came running down the hall! We had waited for almost an hour trying to find someone to help us at 2:30 in the morning !
