Fine hotel when everything works

Yes, I recommend this property.
The week that we stayed here the internet was down the entire time while the staff daily when asked indicated it would be fixed the next day. No suggestions or accomodations were offered by the staff.

The Holiday Inn Express Pittston - Scranton Airport is located directly in the Walmart Shopping Center parking lot. It is walking distance to Walmart and several restaurants such as Taco Bell, Burger King, Denny's, Uncle Joe's Pizza and Asia Star Buffet and Wine and Spirits and is conveniently located right off of PA Turnpike, I-80 and I-81. We are approximately 5 miles from Mohegan Sun Casino, fine dining and shopping.
If you're a corporate traveler, you'll be glad to know that businesses, such as Home Depot, FedEx, UPS, Cascade, Pride Mobility, TJ Maxx, Keystone Automotive, Procter and Gamble, Lowes and Clarcor, are located in the Wilkes - Barre - Scranton area. Our hotel's facilities boast a fitness center and business center to complete your assignments with ease.
When searching for North East, PA hotels, remember that we provide a central location near Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. Poor remodel

No, I do not recommend this property.
The owners did not get their monies worth as the update or remodel work was very poorly done. The exterior work was better than the internal. You know the old saying Lipstick on a Pig applies here. This not a property that represents the quality and condition that Holiday Inn Express customers expect.

The Staybridge Suites Lafayette hotel is located right off I-65 and just minutes from downtown Lafayette and Purdue University.
Hotel amenities include an indoor pool, expanded business center, fitness center, 24/7 marketplace, free laundry facilities, an outdoor patio with barbecue grills, spacious rooms with a fully equipped kitchen and sofa beds, as well as conference space for your needs.
Our guests can enjoy our wonderful breakfast buffet daily and our evening Social on Monday through Wednesday evening.
All rooms include either a single king or two queen beds. The kitchen in each guestroom includes a cook top, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, cookware, sink, a full size refrigerator with an ice maker, as well as all the utensils and dishes you'll need. Our hotel is walking distance to grocery stores and dining outlets, which are perfect for a short weekend or an extended stay.
Our extended stay hotel in Lafayette, Indiana is ideal for business travelers, as we are situated just a few miles from several area companies, including Caterpillar, Subaru, Alcoa, Wabash National, Isuzu and Eli Lilly. Traffic Noise
No, I do not recommend this property.
This is a decent hotel but its location next to the highway is unacceptable. It was did nothing to reduce the extreme highway noise and the room HVAC unit just contributed to the unacceptable conditions.

Poor room cleaning
Yes, I recommend this property.
The room was dirty. Windows on the inside had finger prints and mouth prints on them. The mirrors were not clean again big hand prints on them. Floors were dirty, kitchen had spills still on the floor, bathroom floor had hair and crumbs on the floor. The microwave was dirty too....
The sinks were clean so I know they were in to clean. It was very disappointing.
