We were greeted as a Priority Club member and the desk staff were pleasant and courteous. However, as a long time HI Priority member with an established profile we were disappointed when our standard requested room location was not pre-assigned at check-in. We had to go back to down to the desk and get moved to different room. Though quickly rectified, the only reason given was they had not checked the profile or special requests. The room we then stayed in was non-smoking, but the clean towels held the heavy odor of smoke from a previous patron. We had housekeeping do a complete change out of all towels the first morning. The breakfast buffet offered basic but a sufficient selection to meet all our dietary specialties, however the service to get coffee and tea to go with breakfast was slow at best, and self-serve on some days even when patrons were lite.

Thank you for being a loyal guest to our property and the IHG brand. I'm very sorry that the desk staff hadn't prepared properly for your arrival. I'm investigating to see why this happened, as we use our guests stay preferences as a part of fulfilling our duty to satisfy all Elite level members who happen to visit our hotel. The service that we expect our guests to receive, whether at the desk or in the restaurant, is far higher that what you received. I'm sorry that we fell short of your expectations. We will use this experience to target these issues and improve, so that your next stay will leave you feeling you made the right choice in staying with us.

Room was horrible outdated and poor condition. Paint peeling, door wouldn't shut all the way. I sent email to our travel dept to take this hotel off the list

On behalf of the staff, I would like to sincerely apologize that the room did not meet the guests standards. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and the rooms are being completely updated as well.

The Nicest Hotel Staff In Staten Island

I just want to say, i had a great stay at your hotel. The room was beautiful, everything was clean. The entire Hotel was very clean, but what really set back the experience, was the excellent staff. Nicole was so very helpful, and very nice. She was helping three people at the counter when i walked in, and was still able to help me. I had made a mistake when i booked online, i had put down the wrong dates. Nicole fixed it in a split second, and was able to get me checked right in. When i told her about attending my Mothers Funeral, she put me on the 5th floor where it was nice an quiet.
Camille was also very kind, we had a nice conversation about Atlanta Ga, where i live. When i told her about traveling because my Mother had passed away, and i was attending the funeral, she was very caring and concerned, and offered to make my stay as comfortable as possible.
I can't tell you how nice is is to talk to intelligent, and sweet caring people, something i think we are losing, in this world, it was refreshing.
The breakfast was also excellent, and Carla was very nice, courteous and fast. I will definitely stay again if and when i come back, as I am from New York Originally, so it could happen soon.
