Stayed here a year ago, just so happen to stay in the same room and the feedback I left before with broken doors and outlets on lamps not working are still there. Worse actually, and these doors that won’t latch are now a safety concern not being addressed/corrected. Ice machines are broken on both floors and breakfast is limited due to what seemed like limited employment. Just have to catch the items at the right time. So given we didn’t catch the right timing, we were very limited on food items. Overall, it’s was too expensive for our stay for what we received. I could have paid half the price at a hotel and received the same, if not better expectations. Maintenance team here lacks.

The room I was in had a bad odor and found hairs on bathroom counter and sink, the hotel was very noisy. So basically I slept for 4 hours and left to continue my drive home from Florida. I wouldn't recommend this location.

You can enjoy a comfortable stay at our Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites. Tipp City is located just 10 miles from the Dayton International Airport.
Families will enjoy staying at our Tipp City hotel, located off of I-75, which allows easy access to many of the local attractions.
Our hotel has a convenient location to nearby Miami County attractions, like Strawberry Festival, Tipp City Mum Festival, National Air Force Museum, Rose Music Center and the Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway. If you are a nature enthusiast, we do have Brukner Nature Center and Idle Hour Ranch. These are within a 15 minute drive of Tipp City.

Jackhammer noise middle of the night, front desk area looked a bit gloomy, and small. Checkin staff was really friendly, however the "check out person was asleep. Overall, I think photos are nicer than actual hotel.

Very dirty room.

Very dirty room. Bed looked that someone was there few minutes ago before we entered the room. AC blows right to your neck. Couldn’t get much sleep. Complained to room service at 1:30pm because our room hadn’t been serviced. Came back from a wedding after midnight and the room hadn’t been serviced! So upset! Complained at ck out. Nothing was said nor done. Bad customer service.
BUT I want to say that the bartenders were amazing!!! Extremely nice, and willing to make my group welcome . We tipped them well, as they went overboard with us and it was very much appreciated.

Dated hotel. Breakfast was barely worth the 5 bucks. No variety of breakfast foods. Cranberry, water and coffee was all that was offered. Not quite a “buffet”. Worst breakfast offering I have seen as a diamond elite member with IHG. Desk staff was friendly.

Don’t stay here, nothing works !!! Bar area never opened, elevator didn’t work, no hot water, no air, had to walk up & down 5 flight of stairs the entire time, was charged twice for my security deposit, this place is a BIG NO!!

Heater Not Working

We stayed at the Candlewood Suites in Murfreesboro Tennessee. It was one of the coldest nights during winter. The heater in the living area did not work, the one in the bedroom did work. The front desk Clerk came up check the heater and offered us a different room but it didn't have the extra bedroom that we paid for. I declined and said I guess we'll just stay in the bedroom where it's warmer. She offered us comps and a discount. When we checked out the next morning we refused both and said she didn't have the right to offer that. Now they don't want to give a discount. They gave some comps but that was it. I do not recommend this place. IHG has gone downhill in their service to customers. I always stay at an IHG hotel but not anymore.
