Staff was not helpful and no hot water. I went to this hotel because I was having surgery early in morning didn't need anymore stress. I just wanted to relax.

No hot water for two days & unfulfilled promises

I was in Marion, IN for the NAIA womens basketball tournament in March (25). Hotel was full, no hot water for 2 days & room smelled of vape. Checked in Friday, checked out Sunday. Unable to take a warm shower the entire trip.
Made front desk aware twice, was told wait two hrs each time. At checkout night auditor took information & was going to relay it to the GM. That was 3 days ago. I called today & talked to front desk-they said they’d give me $150 credit & 5000 points. Instead, my card has not been credited only charged in full and no points added. Owner was being notified of the hot water issue & still nothing.
Over promised & under delivered in a room that smelled like it had been vaped in.

Recommend that you check out other flags when going to Marion, IN. No follow through here & substandard conditions for high average room rate.

Horrible service

If you are flying in good luck getting a shuttle we waited over an hour with our kids at 12:00 am. So I would imagine during busy times it would be a longer wait. The driver fought with the front desk lady when we arrive and she stayed outside yelling at him instead of checking us in so we once again had to wait 30 min. Then she put us up on the 3rd floor way at the back in a dirty room. The whole experience was not great at all. I do not recommend at all.

So so experience

I asked for early check-in and was told rooms would not be ready until 4pm. Mid afternoon I was told rooms still not ready. When I came back later in the evening, I got my room but found out there was no iron, hangers, or ironing board.
The check in lines that day was horrible, waiting at least 10-20mins each time. Not sure if issue with computers or something else, but worst experience ever.

Horrific

Complained and sent back .
Next burger arrived not like the first this time cooked in a deep fat fryer and served with a frozen bun complained again overall the food during the stay was really poor
Only 2 members of the bar staff where good the rest poor, to say the least .
Was given some free drinks
With a meal that cost over 50 would I stay again no

The Holiday Inn Chantilly - Dulles Expo (Arpt) is conveniently located just 6 miles from Washington Dulles International Airport, and only 24 miles from downtown Washington, DC. Here you'll find a thriving business community and friendly faces.
The Westfield's business complex, which is just 1 mile away, is home to the National Reconnaissance Office. Staying at our hotel in Chantilly also puts you near companies like HP, Engility, CH2M Hill, General Dynamics, Leidos, TASC, Aerospace, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and Northrop Grumman.

Hotel Full of Kids on the weekend

Unfortunately was one of the worst experiences at IHG network.I was expecting to rest after International flight until next morning but decided to leave the hotel 2 or 3 hours after check in.
Arriving at front desk waited for 10 minutes until someone arrive to do the check in.

Convenient to down town that's it

The staff is rude,don't expect the room you book,the beds are not disabled friendly and if you want to sleep on a rock and have body pain for a week book here. I have never been to a hotel that uncomfortable they gave us 2 towels for 6 people and when asked for towels to be delivered to room got told to bring what towels I had down to them when the card in the room said they would bring it up. No extra toilet paper no tooth paste or tooth brush provided like they said there. Fold out couch had stains(no sheets) and was half broken beds where so hard it was more comfortable on the floor. Also be prepared for them to hold $100 and take forever to give it back. I wouldn't pay to stay here again.

HAD ZERO HEAT FROM TIME OF CHECK IN AT 5PM UNTIL A NEW FURNACE WAS INSTALLED AT 11:30PM. MANAGER DID NOT COMP MY ROOM OR OFFER ANY MEDIATION INCLUDING MOVING ME TO ANOTHER ROOM. TERRIBLE AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!

Within five kilometers from the hotel you'll find the Mexico City International Airport and the World Trade Center Mexico City, the Zocalo Plaza, the Palacio de Bellas Artes, the Templo Mayor Museum, the Palacio de los Deportes, the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez racetrack and the GNP Stadium.
There are two nearby subway stations that give you easy and fast transportation to avoid the usually busy car traffic of the city.

Good hotel bad front desk service

Worse front desk attitude service have ever met, first time feels like lost my human rights. Not allow visitors to room at the day time? Was I stayed at the jail? My colleague has a late night flight and try to stay at room to rest before fly, the room I reserved is allowed for two adults. Why the front desk was not mentioned until I called customer service. And ask the security stop my colleague, that’s so rude. Talk to manager at duty, and they are at the same boat. I really recommend IHG should training their front desk because they can make the stay joyful or worse.
