On behalf of management and staff we invite you to the Holiday Inn Express Houston South-Pearland. Our hotel is located at the intersection of Texas Highway 288 and Sam Houston Parkway (Beltway 8). We are only 10-15 minutes from the Texas Medical Center, Houston Downtown and George R. Brown Convention Center. The Hotel is conveniently located between Downtown Houston and Pearland city therefore has an easy access to all Houston areas.
We also offer a complimentary Express Start breakfast buffet and internet access, a 24-hour fitness room, meeting room, business center and outdoor pool. “Stay Smart” and stay with us. We look forward to exceeding your expectations.
Our hotel is within easy driving distance to multiple places such as Museum District, Houston Zoo, Houston Rodeo, NRG Stadium, Home of the Houston Texans, Toyota Center, Home of the Houston Rockets, Minute Maid Park, Home of the Houston Astros, and the George Brown Convention Center.

The furniture in the rooms needs be updated. Also, the curtains need to be replaced. The bathtub needs to be replaced, the one in my bathroom had stains and the acrylic was peeling.

Great service

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay . Unfortunately, several issues significantly affected my experience.
• There was mold on the glass in the bathroom, which was both unpleasant and concerning.
• The water pressure was very weak, making it difficult to shower properly.
• The sink drain was clogged, causing water to accumulate.
• There was a constant draft coming from under the front door, creating a whistling sound that made it hard to sleep.

The price was great but the Hotel needs some upgrades.

I’d rate the hotel better than average. I’d rate it higher but the hotel itself needs a refurbishment. Carpets being worn in the aisle was noticeable. Staff was very friendly no complaints there. Maybe understaffed? Our bed sheets weren’t changed the second night. The beds were made, but the sheets weren’t changed. I thought the continental breakfast was just ok. Would’ve liked seeing fresh scrambled eggs and a waffle iron and I would’ve been happy. The price was right so I would stay there again.

Not clean

They told us they only clean the rooms every 3rd day. The floors weren’t vacuumed and not sure they were vacuumed before we got there. There was mildew/mold on the inside of the cracked window and in the corners of the bathtub and there was standing water in the tub , that we had to open the drain to let out upon arrival.

Breakfast not that great

The rooms were not cleaned to an acceptable standard, with noticeable areas of neglect that should have been addressed. The telephone in the room was also out of order and did not function at all, which was an inconvenience. In addition, the kitchen and dining areas were not maintained with the level of cleanliness and hygiene one would expect, leaving much to be desired in terms of sanitation. The food variety was underwhelming, with the same basic meals being offered daily, only slightly altered each time, making the dining experience monotonous and unappetizing. Overall, the stay fell short of expectations, and the overall experience was disappointing.

Nearby bus stops provide guests with easy access to major sightseeing spots, downtown areas as well as the Gion district, where guests may bump into a Geisha or Maiko on the way to work. ANA Crowne Plaza Kyoto is the ideal hotel for both sightseeing and business purposes.
In each of our 6 restaurants, Japanese, Szechwan, French, Teppanyaki, Tempura as well as the Café, expert chefs proudly serve distinctive seasonal dishes which will surely be a feast for all our guest’s senses.

One Very Unpleasant Staff at the Check-in/Reception

ANA Crowne Plaza, Kyoto was once like a home away from home whenever I came to Kyoto.
However, during my recent stay, a rude/unpleasant/unsmiling female staff affected my stay/experience to a large extent. She was rude, came across as unwelcoming and unpleasant when I checked in on 20 March 2025 in the early afternoon. During our whole interaction/check-in process, she never once smiled, rudely answered some of my questions, and later (at about 4 pm) when I returned the breakfast coupons at the counter (as I didn’t need the coupons), behind my back (as I walked away from the reception counter), I heard this rude female staff laugh very very loudly and probably crack jokes (in Japanese) about my returning the coupons.
I hope ANA Crowne Plaza Kyoto can improve their quality of staff training.

Hotel is very loud.

Hotel is loud, the corner room did not get any of the wifi in the hotel. The air conditioner was also very loud that hindered sleeping.

Disappointing TV connectivity
