The award-winning Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Salt Lake City Airport East is close to Downtown and the Airport is convenient for the business or leisure traveler.
The staff of the Holiday Inn Express Salt Lake City location provides guests with outstanding service in many different ways. We truly love our loyal IHG Rewards Members & value their business. Corporate travelers appreciate the location and convenience of this hotel located two miles from Salt Lake City Airport & within walking distance of the TRAX new light rail system.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to various corporations including L3 Communications, Northrop Grumman, Avalon, Tac Air & Unisys. We are less than one mile from the United States Air Force Base, Boeing Company, and Chevron. 100% Non-smoking hotel and all rooms include microwaves & refrigerators. Leisure travelers love our beautiful Holiday Inn Express at Salt Lake City Airport, come create your next stay with us. If you seek adventure, the Great Salt Lake is 10 miles away & seven ski resorts are in close proximity. The hotel is conveniently located off I-80 & I-215. The airport shuttle is available from 6 am to 11 pm daily and advance notice is required.

Customer Service Terrible

I have stayed at many a Holiday Inn; this site is the worst I have experienced. The front desk staff was rude, impatient, and unable to accommodate our needs. The room smelled like a sewer, the keys had to be replaced daily because they would fail to work, and the room lighting was terrible. The breakfast options were severely limited. We came as a volleyball team, and many families had similarly poor experiences. Definitely not worth the cost of the visit. Very disappointing.

One of my worst experiences

The person that checked me did not speak loud enough or clear enough for me to understand what he was saying. He then charged me for parking... when I booked my reservation online, It was not stated I needed to pay for parking. Or the fact that breakfast was not included.
Then my room was double booked and the hotel gave complete strangers access to my room. After returning from dinner I was not able to access my due to the double booking issue.
I went down stairs to the lobby an wittnessed an adult customer being scolded by the holiday Inn female employee behind the counter.
After the room issue was rectified we were only given breakfast tickets to a breakfast buffet that is the same as and including when staying at other holiday inn locations.
The center night stand drawer malfunctioned. The USB ports on the clock did not work. The clock time was incorrect.
This is one the worst experiences I've had with IHG / holiday inn.

Billing issue and slow/no response

I called and asked to get my charges corrected since they charged my card three identical charges and they were not on my receipt. The person on the phone said the manager would call me back and then the next day no call back. I called and then again by the same person on the phone I was told the manager was in meeting and they would contact me the next week. This is not good service and I won’t be returning to this hotel unless they get this resolved. IHG needs to really get on this locations for not being prompt with responding to customers

Comfortable in Good weather but...

The hotel was great! I would have 110% recommend but unfortunately we experienced bad weather and the lights went out and there was no back up system so we had to pack our things at 9pm (being out all day at an event) and go to a different hotel. That was frustrating to take bags down 2 flights of stairs in the dark

Not as advertised

We had a nice stay. The hotel was well located and very nice. The room was clean and the kitchenette was a plus. The sleeping arrangements were not as advertised. We booked a queen bed with a pull out sofa that slept 4. The queen was actually a double and the sofa pulled out to a twin mattress. The breakfast was nice but when we arrived there was barely anything available, as there was one lady working the entire breakfast area.

Gorgeous Sunsets at Hotel in Chinle, Arizona Located in the heart of Navajo Nation, the Holiday Inn® Canyon de Chelly (Chinle) hotel provides an impeccable mixture of ancient Navajo traditions and modern conveniences. When I looked at the previous reviews of the hotel I was happy to book and stay with Continental Plaza Beach resort. I emailed the resort the day before with some questions,but not reply at all. The room wasn’t clean,when we arrived we arrived. After asking the cleaner if it was. The fridge had a bad smell with previous guest hair in it. The bathroom had burn marks in the bath tub. There was a family of birds living in the roof. Just to cover a few things regarding being cleaned. Breakfast was not up to standard. Previous guest tables hadn’t been cleaned. Chairs were dirty…ect.
The beach itself was not pictured in the pictures on the website. No loungers on the beach…People place towels very early in the morning or the staff help people “book”chairs for the day.BUT,the sea is fantastic.Its what gave me a better feeling about Sharm el Sheik.
The people selling tours on the beach,be warned. They will try sell at a higher price,divide by 2. Then add 10 dollars. Thats the real price. And won’t refund you 24 hours before. I felt like I was a “dollar sign” most of the time to the locals.
If you happy to pay the price of 65-100 Dollars for the night and get that service. Then the place is for you. Don’t except what the previous reviews are. They not!

I have been staying in IHG PIM since soft opening 2019. At least 1 -2 x a year for a long period of time. Since the last time I stayed 6 months ago , I have observed a serious decline of overall condition of the Hotel. Ex : The cocking where the wall meet the floor is cracking and dirty . Wallpaper was patched rather than replaced entirety. The room smell of mildew due to cosmetic repair. About 1 week into my stay some wallpaper came loose revealing “ MOLD & MILDEW “. As result I began to cough uncontrollably foreseeing the staff to relocate me to another room which was no better. Same problem mold & mildew. It took me half a day just to move all my things for one room to another after all the above in the last room I relocated, had Roaches. We are talking about Club Suite Room which should be one of the best. Panel in Elevator # 2 left side is not functional. Button floor # 25,in Elevator # 3 is coming loose. It’s appears that management is deferring repairs causing the declined in condition which just happened recently. If it was not for your very professional and dedicated staff ; Managers, duty mgrs, supervisors who helped and comfort me during my 3 weeks stay, I would have moved another true 5 luxury hotel and never come back. I hope you don’t loose your quality staff due to your recent changes.

Your parking spaces were too narrow for a European SUV rental and I almost scratched the vehicle and was extremely difficult to enter and exit the slots making me almost want to take up 2 slots which is not fair to other patrons.
