As a IHG member I’ve always had great experiences at the multiple hotels I visit, but this was different. Me my wife and our grandson checked in 15 March2025 while attending a local sporting event. We arrived got our keys, and left for our grandsons game and did not return until later that night. When we returned we noticed the toilet seat was broken. The next morning when we went to take showers the shower rod was loose and curtain would only close half way. The exhaust fan was extremely loud(fan motor on its last leg)
At 6am on my way to the front desk the elevator would not go to the lobby. I had to get off on the second floor and take the stairs downstairs, which put us outside in the rain. I spoke to the receptionist and he apologized and offered us another room but we were checking out later that morning. He did say that he would let the manager know about the issues and that the manager would contact me.
When we returned from my grandsons early game the other elevator was out of service. So now one elevator is out of service and the other elevator won’t go to the lobby.
My wife and I are elderly and I had a heart transplant recently making it very difficult for us to negotiate stairs. The manager never reached out to us or responded to our request to address the many issues.

Most beautiful Holiday Inn Express that I have ever stayed at. Food and breakfast staff was great. Front desk staff was stoned, could not read screen, took 15 minutes to check me in. Room was top notch, bed was great. Water temperature was terrible; luke-warm and I shivered all the way through my shower to get clean. Sink water temp was very hot - great! Shower temperature safety valve needs adjustment. Worst hotel shower ever. I mentioned the problem to the stoned front desk guy, and he had a very creative story of how the nice hotel has bad hot water heaters, and new ones were on order. The breakfast was great - loved every part. When I mentioned shower problem to the morning desk guy, his response was a shrug, shook his head, and utter "hugh". Really didn't seem to care about much other than to collect room keys.

We checked into the room..........the staff was very congenial......then we got to the room.........my daughter thought there was a long hair in the sink.........it was a crack. After looking carefully, the lighted frame around the mirror was broken off in the corner and was sharp. We were there to take my grandkids to the waterpark, so we spent the majority of our time there, it was ok for younger kids 8 to 12 years old. Once we got back to the room we discovered bugs in the bathroom and in the area of the microwave/coffee maker and crawling up the wall. Every room was full......we were given $30.00 off the room..........that is a very small comp for bugs since we are now fumigating everything we brought to the motel.

A refined Glasgow business hotel with conference space for 800 delegates and a spa The Crowne Plaza Glasgow is situated along the River Clyde, in a central yet quieter area of Glasgow, west of the heart of Glasgow City Centre, making it close enough but not within the immediate hustle and bustle. The hotel is particularly convenient for those attending events at the SEC Centre, OVO Hydro, or the SEC, all of which are right next door. You’ll find us in a striking, glass tower with Glasgow Airport only a 15-minute drive away, we offer convenient parking on site. Direct trains from the nearby Exhibition Centre station take 5 minutes to reach Central Station in the city centre. Alternatively, it is a 30-minute walk to the city centre or a 10-minute taxi ride. Entertain your clients in flexible meeting spaces ranging from chic private boardrooms to impressive event suites. Our Meetings Director is on hand to help with all the details, and there’s a Conference Café where guests can take a break. Elegant bedrooms have breathtaking city and river views. Book a Club Room or Suite for access to the Club Lounge. After work, savour a juicy steak while gazing out of the floor-to-ceiling windows in the Mariner Restaurant, or join colleagues for a glass of wine in the Mariner Lounge. Please note: The hotel is located outside the Low Emission Zone (LEZ).
I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Glasgow, and overall, it was an average experience. The location is convenient, especially if you're visiting the SEC, Hydro or West End.
Check-in was smooth, but there was a bit of a wait at reception. The room (901) was a decent size and clean, but a lot of the light bulbs were faulty (a pretty basic thing for a hotel of this size). The view of the city was excellent from the room. The aircon was noisy but required as none of the windows open (by design).
The bathroom was fairly disappointing. Not sure if anyone from the staff has ever stayed in the room and used the bathroom? The location of the shower gel / shampoo holder means you continually bang your shoulder off of this when under the shower. The shower was also fairly small, but water was hot and had good pressure. There was also no where to hang towels to dry (heated towel rail or similar). A small hook on the back of the bathroom door does not meet this need.
The mini bar in the room was fairly basic with the coffee on offer in the room awful! Please invest in decent coffee bags rather than sachet instant rubbish!
The lifts are brutal! Almost waiting for 5 minutes for one to stop at the floor you are on, and then they were mostly full so you had to wait again for the next one. It looked like one of the lifts may have been out of action.
We had access to the Club Lounge on the 15th floor. Having stayed at a nearby hotel with a penthouse bar area, I had an idea in my head of what this may have been like. The reality was a crammed and stuffy space that was clearly oversubscribed for the size of the hotel / number of people who were allowed to use the lounge. The canapés and drink selection were however good and plentiful.
Breakfast was superb, with a huge offering and at last a decent coffee! The food was extremely well cooked, hot and of an excellent quality.
Overall, it’s not a bad place to stay, but probably wouldn't stay again at the price I paid. If you’re attending an event nearby, it’s convenient, but there are probably better options if you’re looking for a more comfortable, modern stay that represents better value for money.

Live like a local at Hotel Indigo Lower East Side, New York. Step off the street and into street art. Our one-of-a-kind lobby mural, created by graffiti legend Lee Quinones, is an unexpected greeting that sets the tone for the creative vibe you’ll find throughout our hotel. Whether you’re snapping photos of our spectacular Manhattan skyline views or kicking back with a crafted cocktail at our rooftop bar, Mr. Purple, our urban oasis is the perfect place to start your New York City journey. We’re steps away from the best local bars, street installations, and attractions—and we’re happy to show you around our neighborhood.
We did our research so knew this hotel was in a vibrant (yes noisy) part of town - we were expecting a fun filled holiday in NY and didn't need peace and quiet - otherwise why would you stay on the LES? We stayed 10 days so have a good overview of how this place is run.
Lets just be honest and call it how it is -
CONS + We were locked out of our room at 1230 midnight because apparently a room charge was due that we didn't know about. No apology, and it took an hour to sort out. Super embarrassing and unnecessary. The next morning we went to reception to clarify that we were all up to date with payment and nothing needed attention. Confirmed as true by the receptionist. A day later there was a new charge on our card for $440. Then another for $70. What the actual ....? Assured this was just for "incidentals" and would be refunded as soon as we checked out. A part of it was returned, but we are still waiting for the rest 12 days later. A weird "miscellaneous charges" item has appeared on account with still no explanation. Advice? Pay your room charges up front and then LOCK your card. These people DO NOT know what they are doing. + They have a club upstairs Thu - Sun - thats fine, we knew that. Wasn't expecting to be GRILLED by security and wait in a line with drunk and high club goers to get to our room - thats just off and totally unacceptable. I even showed my room key - was physically pushed back by a guard and told to wait in line while club goers went ahead of me in the elevator.
PROS + The staff are really fun and welcoming (except club security) +The rooms are some of the largest you will find in NYC + Rooms are clean and comfortable and housekeeping are absolutely top notch.
Unlikely we will back unless the manager actually sorts out all the free money they took from our card. (Luckily we have chargeback in AU so will let my bank know tomorrow). Still waiting for a reply from my request to explain these "miscellaneous charges".
A fun place to stay, with a few quirks, but the billing issues really are not good enough.

Our AC in our room was making terrible clacking noises and a high pitch squeal. We notified the front desk and they said maintenance would come to fix the problem or they would move our rooms. They did neither of the two. Whenever we would be down in the lobby every answer to every guest was “we are busy”.

We stayed at this hotel out of necessity. The comforters were filthy and the room was straightened but not very clean. The remote did not work and it was very loud. I will pay more for a dog friendly hotel that is cleaner next time.

Inspired by brass bands and rich, colorful costuming of locals, at Hotel Indigo New Orleans - French Quarter you will be “part of that number”. Nestled in the Central Business District on the St. Charles streetcar line, we are ideal for business travelers. Our newly renovated, pet-friendly hotel, originally built in 1837, weaves tradition with modernity. Offering 143 artfully designed guestrooms, including nine with balconies overlooking St. Charles and Common, we welcome you to our oasis in downtown New Orleans. Dine at our Cajun restaurant, Common Interest, and enjoy proximity to the city’s most notable venues, like Orpheum Theater, House of Blues, the Fillmore, Caesar’s Superdome, and Smoothie King Center. Your New Orleans adventure starts here!
Beware of this hotel! If you cannot guarantee a room with a view they may very well stick you in a "Standard Room" with NO WINDOWS. Staff is polite. Ownership is obviously cheap and lacking commitment to a superior guest experience, though they sure charge like they do.

We used this as a budget hotel for a 1 night stay to see a show in Birmingham. On check-in the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was OK, headboard had been broken in the past and poorly repaired. Shower leaked onto bathroom floor. The hot breakfast was cold.
