Holiday Inn room

I recently stayed at this hotel and was overall pleased with my experience. The room was spacious and well-appointed, offering great amenities and a comfortable atmosphere. However, the bathroom cleanliness left much to be desired, with some areas needing attention. Despite this hiccup, I would consider returning for the other positives.

No lift to 7th floor

7th floor, We had a very serious lift problem and we are unable to go out for our appointments we intend to.

The second day we tried to go to the shop was very stressful to climb up.
I couldn’t walk through the stairs for almost 45mins still struggling. We expect, to be moved to lower level after complaining.
Last day , we were asked to leave our email for discount for this purpose.

Me and my husband checked in on 3/15/2025 the bathroom wasn't cleaned at all there was stains in the shower and the bathroom floor was dirty as well.

This location needs a lot of Help

We have stayed at 3 IHG properties in the past month and all were very good, except the location in Jackson, TN. This might be the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed. We didn't take a shower because the shower was incredibly filthy with black mold. Should have picked up on the cleanliness (lack of) as we walked to our room. The hallway floor could not have possibly been vacuumed. Dirty kleenexes and food crumbs, and not just a few. Once we were in our room, it was if it had been half cleaned. All the trash had been pulled, but the new bags were just folded on the side of the trash cans. Also, a problem with the bathroom sink draining. It didn't.
The hotel badly needs attention. The panels covering the elevator controls were cracked. The panel covering the air conditioner controls was broken and hanging off in the vending area.
No, we didn't mention to the front desk. What would they do? Move us to another dirty room? This is an IHG issue, not front desk.

Beware as I was bitten by bed bugs. The company attempted to deny my refund request and lied and stated that I left the room in poor condition as a way not to refund me for my stay.

Nice staff, that's about it

Unlike my previous visit, the bed was hard as a rock. We were quite disappointed. Also unlike our last visit, the bathroom was not cleaned well. Handrails around toilet and in shower, shower walls, cabinet, all not cleaned. We didn't get the room we booked because the website lets you book a room that's not available, even though you confirmed with a human it was available. However, the food pantry is great and the staff are nice. So maybe the inconsistencies are few and far between typically, this may have been an anomaly. But the thing that is consistent is that the hotel needs some reno, both times we stayed here the bathroom needed fixing up. Damaged drywall, fixtures with heavy hard water damage, rust, badly applied caulk patching.

Worst IHG Property I’ve ever Seen

This place is a disaster! I honestly don’t believe the building and rooms have been cleaned in weeks! I own a cleaning company and do this for a living and stay at IHG properties regularly…my room was absolutely disgusting. From visible food on furniture, floors, etc. to greasy hand prints on the headboard. We even found a toy car behind the door (who knows how long that had been there). We requested our room to be cleaned and to receive extra towels and it never happened. The bed is probably 30 plus years old and the springs are completely shot. It looks like someone is laying in the bed without even being in it. All the staff does is sit on their phones and never greets or has any type of customer service. I could continue, but I hope this is getting to the right people. This place need corporate help or needs demolition!!!

Alabama hotel guests find our recently renovated rooms are conveniently located off I-65, just two miles from downtown and minutes from area attractions.
Our business guests love our location near area businesses like Tyson Foods, Goldkist, Serta, General Dynamics, Topre, and Royal Technologies. To ensure a successful stay, use the well-appointed 24-hour Business Center, which offers Internet access, copy, fax and printing services, to prepare for meetings. Our three meeting rooms have 1,525 square feet of space, feature A/V equipment and can accommodate up 150 people comfortably.
In Northern Alabama, our hotel is the best place to stay to enjoy this charming, small town, fun activities and attractions. Filthy rooms, unauthorized charges, horrible experience

I booked three nights but stayed only one and paid for that one night due to the hotel’s poor condition—mold, stains on bed, towels and bathtub, visible urine from previous guest on toilet. Staff tried to charge me for extra nights without consent and pressured me for a good review in order for me to be able to leave without staying for the 2 extra nights. Extremely unsanitary, unprofessional and uncomfortable stay
