After years of staying at IHG hotels, I was shocked by the room at the Hotel Indigo. It was so small that it seemed like something out of a Marx Bros movie - I had to step sideways to walk around the queen sized be they squeezed into the room. There was no closet or armoire - just an open set of shelves with a small bar between uprights that had room for approximately 4 clothes hangers.
I asked the desk if anything else was available for a platinum member and was told there was another room, but it was essentially identical to this one.
I told them that the room was unacceptable, and I checked into another hotel across the square!

Hotel was not in great condition. Early in the morning when eating breakfast the lobby had lady’s of the night in it and management was trying to run them off.

Smart, contemporary hotel with free Wi-Fi and included Grab and Go breakfast 20 minutes from central London.
Holiday Inn Express® London - Park Royal hotel is a three-minute drive from the A40 motorway and around the corner from North Acton Tube station . Catch the Central line to inner-city London in 20 minutes or to Westfield London shops and restaurants in eight minutes. If you're landing at Heathrow Airport, you'll find the hotel just 40 minutes away by rail. London attractions like Buckingham Palace and the British Museum are a quick trip from the hotel. Vast Kew Gardens awaits you just four miles away, and Ealing Studios, home to ""Downton Abbey"" and several hit films, is three miles away. See rock concerts and football games at Wembley Stadium , 20 minutes' drive away.

Poor Experience

We booked four nights at this hotel starting with March 8, 2025. As soon as we walked into the hotel, we noticed a strong smell of some type of cleaning agent or similar. Within 5-10 minutes of getting into our room, my wife, who has asthma, had a strong allergic reaction to whatever was in the air. She immediately used her emergency inhaler, but it took a while for her condition to stabilize. We knew that there was no way we could stay at this hotel and asked the manager for a refund, which he refused to issue. We feel that this was very unfair of them considering that this whole problem arose because there was something in the air inside the hotel that triggered my wife's violent allergic reaction. We ended up going to another nearby hotel.
So, for anyone planning to stay at this place, keep this in mind and plan accordingly.

Me and my son were appalled at the cleanliness of the plates, cups, utensils. The food options in the cafe are overpriced and not worth the money, the food looks like it’s just thrown together and put on a plate.

Can’t believe I booked again.

I booked this hotel because they allowed me to have a dog. I’ve been here for work trips twice and my experience has progressively gotten worse. The parking lot is constantly filled with trash, the door to get in on the side does not work, and there’s only one good thing here, which is one female staff member. As a woman, traveling alone, do not book this place.
