The Hotel is Nestled off I-29, the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Kansas City Airport hotel is only 4 miles away from the Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and offers shuttle service.
Conveniently accessible to all that Kansas City has to offer, our hotel is the perfect location to Kansas City’s attractions and destination areas. The Zona Rosa Shopping and Entertainment District is 1 mile south. Downtown Kansas City is only a 15-minute drive including the Power & Light District, Sprint Center, Kauffman Center and the Convention Center. Plus, the hotel is a short drive to the KCI Expo Center, Worlds of Fun, Kauffman Stadium, Arrowhead Stadium, the Kansas City Zoo and the Kansas Speedway.

Yes, I recommend this property.
The hotel was fine. The early morning desk person was always friendly. For whatever reason the door to the gym wouldn’t open (every morning) so he would open it it. Worked in the evenings just not the mornings. They did leave a large ladder open, in the middle of floor for no apparent reason which reduced the useable space. On the last day it was a lady at the desk and she didn’t have a key so I couldn’t get in. It’s a 24hrs gym so the time shouldn’t have been an issue. They do have an indoor pool which was being repaired. Breakfast was standard fair but always ready on time if not earlier which was great for my schedule. Plenty of good restaurants nearby.

No, I do not recommend this property.
The value for my stay just wasn’t there. This is Temple TX, not a large city. No reason that they should charge as much as they did. The mattresses we had were really firm, which hasn’t been our experience in many years of staying at IHG hotels. The light/fan in our bathroom had a short and worked intermittently.

Another great Holiday Day Inn Express
Yes, I recommend this property.
I have found Holiday Day Inn express to always be in my price range and consistent in quality. This hotel is no different. They offer a great value considering it’s in NYC. The location was great for us. The staff was very friendly and took good care of me. The breakfast area is small and can get a bit busy. That’s probably the biggest gripe and that’s not really an issue for me. If I have the opportunity to visit NYC again I’d definitely look at staying here again.
