The Hotel is Nestled off I-29, the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Kansas City Airport hotel is only 4 miles away from the Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and offers shuttle service.
Conveniently accessible to all that Kansas City has to offer, our hotel is the perfect location to Kansas City’s attractions and destination areas. The Zona Rosa Shopping and Entertainment District is 1 mile south. Downtown Kansas City is only a 15-minute drive including the Power & Light District, Sprint Center, Kauffman Center and the Convention Center. Plus, the hotel is a short drive to the KCI Expo Center, Worlds of Fun, Kauffman Stadium, Arrowhead Stadium, the Kansas City Zoo and the Kansas Speedway.

Friendly staff but hotel needs to pay attention to the details

Hotel had a friendly staff but the property overall was lacking on the details. Room was too cold and you could not adjust the temperature any higher, they didn't place a blanket in the room I requested, room was not cleaned the last night I was there. Room key didn't open the gym. Front desk staff had to open it every time I wanted to use it. Cinnamon rolls were cold in the center for breakfast. Room was clean upon arrival. Lobby is about what I expected.

Yes, I recommend this property.
This property was a pleasure to stay at. The bed was very comfortable with upgraded comforter and amenities. Breakfast was very good quality and waitresses were very attentive. Nice food options at the property with the restaurant and the coffee bar.

Clean Comfortable Hotel

Yes, I recommend this property.
The hotel was similar to what I experience at Most HIE properties. Room was comfortable and clean. Facilities were outfitted fine. The rooms need some maintenance as the usb ports for charging our phones didn't work and we had to be moved to another room and 2 of the 4 didn't work in that room either. Breakfast resupply was a little slow several items were out and we finished breakfast before they were resupplied. Breakfast attendants were checking their phones during this time. Overall hotel is okay just needs a bit more oversite and attention with some of the details.

Yes, I recommend this property.
We have people staying at this property when they fly in for Alaska Cruises. The property is located near the airport and has a nice shuttle bus to and from the airport. They currently are also offering a shuttle to and from the Port of Seattle for $20 each way. They are currently doing some maintenance on the elevators so they are 1 elevator down. Staff was nice but need a little additional training. We were given a key to a room and walked in on someone sleeping in the bed.
