We checked in after traveling all day and went to take a shower to go out for dinner. We had no hot water and had to take a cold shower. Blinds in room were torn and tile on bathroom floor was broken as well as trim around bathroom door all rusty. Stopped at the front desk to tell them and ask for a discount since we had no hot water. The two employees working at the desk were of no help and asked them to call the manager and wanted an answer when we came back from dinner. When we returned she said the manager did not call her back and she couldn't' help us but they had boiler problems. She never said that before so obviously had spoken to someone. She offered no compensation and said the manager is probably sleeping so that is why she didn't return the call. We were leaving early in the morning and she said the manager didn't come on until 7:00 a.m. We asked for a phone call from the manager and never received one. When we went to check out there was no one at the front desk so we ran the bell and a young employee who looked like he had been sleeping came out. It was pointless to ask him anything as he would not know anything either. Very disappointed in customer satisfaction with this hotel as we had just stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Lincoln NE and it was a great experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
