Jolissa was great at check in, Jalaysea was great evening follow up and comfort after an incident occurred. Room was large and clean and there was a variety of breakfast choices. Unfortunately our room was targeted for a theft operation and several valuables as well as personal dignity have been compromised.

Simply exquisite. Thank you to the fabulous team who made this the crowning experience for my many ihg stays this last year. From Aylssa’s kindness and welcoming attitude at check in, to Lori and Nancy making sure I had everything I needed, Leah was there for me late night, Tonya at the bar and Marcy and Chere at the perfectly appointed breakfasts. The room was equally exquisite, clean, large and beautiful. As a senior contributor I am recommending this wonderfully staffed and appointed property as the premier place to stay in Jackson county as well as the State of Michigan. From Mayan and Marina's kindness at check inn to Mary and Kelly making sure I had everything I needed through out my stay, even to Sean's welcoming spirit in house keeping, let me say this is one of the most Beautifully appointed and staffed inter city properties I have visited this year. From the very pleasant check in experience with Mayan and Marina to Mary and Kelly making sure I had everything I needed, every staff member including housekeeping, thank you Sean, made this a very pleasant first time experience. This really felt like a full service hotel and I plan to return. Thank you team! Being My fifth time staying at this property I expected far better but overall I felt left out in the cold and received little recognition for my brand loyalty instead was told at check in “I always create problems.” Well to start off I had booked a suite three months prior and was phoned by The new front desk manager, Kayton and was told I would not have a suite, I explained that it was the room type I expected and there was little room for me to switch as I needed the tables. Well after offering me a room with two connecting rooms he advised I would have a suite after all, yet the suite had no refrigerator or microwave, no closet in the room, a wobbly coffee table and an unwanted accessible bathroom. He also offered no confession for the added anxiety at the beginning of my stay instead told me I would receive no breakfast vouchers as they cost the hotel money, every other time I stayed I was granted at least one mornings worth of vouchers for my party, yes a “party of five” the amount of people allowed by the room yet Kayton also told me I should have had permission for that amount of people. I had a second room booked for through a third party website that I no longer needed, he told me I would be charged for that cancellation. I also had wished to use a previously booked reward night for my first nights stay, he told me “no, use the separate room or forfeit your points”. Really the only bright spot was Shelia who recognized my patronage and welcomed be back when she saw me the second day of my stay. Thank you Shelia. If it were not for shelia I would not be returning to the property. The second time the room was serviced the empty facial tissue box was removed but not replaced, and no soap or shampoo was left either, a pleasant Surprise I had during my final mornings shower.

All I can say is wow and thank you. This is one of the nicest, best managed, most beautiful, friendly properties I have ever stayed at ever. From James at check in who started my stay with a smile giving me and my travel companions a lovely room, to Amanda in accounting who welcomed us to town offering many personal ideas for weekend activities. Thank you Jim and the house keeping staff for making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Madeley and the pool staff for making sure all of the amenities were on point. Thank you Naor and the late night staff for making sure there was full service after hours. Thank you Mike and the shuttle staff for the lovely ride into town and wonderful story you shared on the way. Thank you JoAnn for the Lovely check-in experience. Thank you to the housekeeping staff and breakfast staff who made sure my stay was comfortable. My suite was missing a T.V. but everything else was nice and comfortable. Hopefully the new manager gets the training he needs to understand how not to treat return guests and if he makes a mistake in the future to acknowledge that mistake and offer concessions prior to suggesting escalation for resolution at the corporate level.
