We began staying at this hotel shortly after it was built and have always enjoyed our stay. However, this last visit was vastly disappointing. We checked in and were given room 120. We quickly realized that there was no hot water to that room and asked for another. While we were in room 120, we were dismayed at the deterioration of the room. There were several places that made the room very uncared for. We then moved to room 215 - which did have hot water - and this room did look better cared for but had issues; first, the safe was locked so we were unable to use it, and second, the window shade was broken and could be raised. The room 215 was adequate but not the quality that it had been. Also, it appeared that the hotel was understaffed. We saw people waiting to check in but there was no one at the front desk. We have really enjoyed our stays there in the past and sincerely hope that the problems can be remedied for the enjoyment of their guests. P.S. under this review there was a imbedded word "excellent" and a 5 score. That is not indicative of our but it seems I cannot change it on this form
