From Laila at check-in to Tiffany making sure everything was ok this was truly a wonderful experience. The beautiful lobby led me to my wonderfully appointed room on the 18th floor, the pool deck was impeccable and breakfast was a treat. Was a great feeling to be remembered and engaged as a repeat patron by Cedric in management as well as Laceon at the valet. I look forward to many more return visits and will be recommending this property as the premier place to stay in midtown Atlanta.

I have been platinum rewards member for years and never have I had such an appalling experience. From being promised a price adjustment at check in that never happened, to being over charged after an accommodation was offered but never received for a broken down elevator for five hours on one of the busiest travel days of the year during the Cherry Festival, this place lacks character, is outdated and has very un-professional staff. Room was small and overstuffed with large bulky, outdated furniture. I even had to as for a room upgrade as the suite I booked for a premium was basic, small and dark; typically upgrades are offered at checkin for platinum members, not here you have to beg. Let alone not being greeted as a platinum rewards member I was never greeted once as I walked by the front deck, it was always empty with a door bell to ring for service. When I called to ask about why I had been over charged, before the front desk manager got on the phone with me I had to listen to her complain about not being able to go on her break. The location of the hotel and being of the brand I have been loyal to was the only saving grace, so I went a head and booked a great rate for my following year's travel plans only to discover my reservation was secretly canceled by the front desk manager as she deemed me unfit as a future guest and likewise sent absolutely no notification that my future reservation had been canceled. Wow talk about accommodation and appreciation for brand loyalty.

Travelers beware, front desk management descriminates and does not back accommodations offered by guest relations. After elevator was out for five hours my future booking was internally canceled because I was seen as an unfit future guest mind you I’m am a platinum reward member, yet was never greeted as such at check in. Management is never at the front desk, I was never greeted professionally. Was also promised a price adjustment at check in instead I was overcharged.

I was lured in by the renovation I had read about, saying every surface had been enhanced or re done as I had stayed at the establishment pre-renovation and liked the location. One of the first things i did when entering my room which did have new wall paper, bedding, some furnishings and carpeting was enter the bathroom to wash my face. The towel bar immediately fell off on my foot. Then when sitting on the bed i scraped my leg on a projecting metal rod, finally when taking a tissue, the box cover looked like it was 20-30 years old definitely something pre-renovation, not to mention the tiles, tub, leaky shower and heat lamp fixture in the bathroom were all pre-renovation as well. I am appalled to think i payed a premium per night for this poorly maintained facility and was only offered a free drink ticket and breakfast when i complained to management. The service elevator i was directed to upon check in because i was in the west wing was also not touched in the renovation. Even as I entered the parking lot instead of being greeted by a friendly valet, I was gawked at by a man with a list who took ten minutes to find my name and reluctantly move the cone so i could pull in after my 12 hour drive from the east. As it was he only put me down for one night for the window ticket even after i explained i was staying three nights and had the confirmation pulled up on my phone. They have some nerve charging these types of prices when the room was in fact a danger zone.
