The Hotel is Nestled off I-29, the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Kansas City Airport hotel is only 4 miles away from the Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and offers shuttle service.
Conveniently accessible to all that Kansas City has to offer, our hotel is the perfect location to Kansas City’s attractions and destination areas. The Zona Rosa Shopping and Entertainment District is 1 mile south. Downtown Kansas City is only a 15-minute drive including the Power & Light District, Sprint Center, Kauffman Center and the Convention Center. Plus, the hotel is a short drive to the KCI Expo Center, Worlds of Fun, Kauffman Stadium, Arrowhead Stadium, the Kansas City Zoo and the Kansas Speedway.
Try your luck at a variety of area casinos, take in the arts with our local theaters and museums or simply get a taste of the area's famous BBQ.

Overall good stay
A few days before our stay we contacted the hotel after noticing the website said the pool was closed for renovation from the end of January to February 7. We wanted to make sure the pool would be open and warmed up before our stay on February 14. The person we talked to said it was open and warm. Two days later we arrived and as we checked in were informed that people had said the pool was cold. We checked it as the front desk said she wasn't sure how cold and it could have just been a personal preference, but we could swim at the hotel across the parking lot. The pool along with the pool area were extremely cold, we travel with an infant thermometer for our kids just in case and the pool was reading 54 degrees. We were grateful for the pool across the street, but there is no way in the two days before we stayed the temperature dropped that much, and had we known ahead of time we would have canceled our reservation and stayed at a different hotel in the area.
Other then that the stay was fine. The heater in the room was really loud and took a bit to kick in, but the hotel was clean and comfortable overall. Just know if you are looking for abplace to swim with your family, choose somewhere else.

The Holiday Inn Express Alliance hotel is minutes from Carhenge, Alliance Knight Museum, and Dobby's Frontier Town . The property was completed in the summer of 2018 and is perfectly equipped for either business or leisure travel. The hotel offers guest rooms, complimentary high speed wired and wireless internet access, deluxe complimentary breakfast, business center, fitness center and indoor pool . The Holiday Inn Express is ideal for your trip to Alliance. While in town, you should visit attractions such as Carnegie Arts Center, Carhenge, and the Military Museum . Yes, I recommend this property.
Exactly what you expect from a Holiday Inn, especially in a small town, the service was good, and the room was fine. No complaints and I would probably stay here again if I was back in this town for work.

Comfortable bed, dated hotel
The hotel was definitely dated, but the rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was extremely small and the hotel allows both pets and smoking which could be heard/smelled throughout the hallways.
