Our award winning, pet friendly hotel is located just off of Interstate 70 and Hwy 54 only 20 miles from Columbia, Mexico, and our state capital, Jefferson City. Westminster College, William Woods University, Stephens College, Lincoln University, University of Missouri, Ameren Missouri nuclear plant, and Fulton State Hospital are all within a short drive of our hotel.
Fulton, MO offers several points of interest for leisure travelers. Enjoy an afternoon touring Westminster College home to Winston Churchill's famous 1946 Iron Curtain speech. There you can also visit the National Churchill Museum, the Church of St. Aldermanbury, and see a piece of the Berlin Wall. Art enthusiasts may tour the Cox Gallery located on the William Woods University. Car lovers will delight in the Auto World Museum which includes a collection of cars and memorabilia that spans the entire 20th century. Winter get-away

Staying at Wisconsin Dells for winter get-away with friends. Very pleasant experience at this hotel. Staff was great and the rooms were clean and quiet. Heating/cooling unit was very quiet for a hotel room - usually we have to shut them off to be able to sleep.

Brand new room we're much more accommodating than oldest styles. Large TV with easy to use inputs, plenty of convient places to charge phone, movable ottomans, etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel on next visit.

Great value/features for the price

This was the first time staying at a Candlewood Suites hotel. Incredible value for the price. I picked the hotel based on price and ratings, and didn't think it would have anything but a bed and a bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a very nice room, with kitchenette and full sized refrigerator. I will definitely stay at Candlewood Suites anytime there is one where I am traveling to.

A really nice hotel and a charger for the Tesla

The kids were wanting to have a little pool time so we take a short overnight to Columbia. The pool was really nice and an excellent temperature. The hot tub was pretty small but we pretty much had it to ourselves so it worked out fine. We also drive a Tesla so driving from Independence to Columbia allowed us to recharge and get home without any issues. The Tesla charger was a primary reason for staying at this location. The room was very nice and staff very accommodating. We didn't try out the restaurant but the menu looked good.

For A Quick Overnight Stop

So I have stayed at this hotel multiple times, mostly as a quick overnight stop. I am a single dad with 3 kids under the age of 7, so that provides a little foundation to this review.
Pros: KIDS EAT FREE BREAKFAST. The breakfast buffet is awesome, and if I eat it (about 13.00 dollars) the kids eat free. I feed everyone for about 3 bucks each. The rooms are always clean and the king size bed is an actual king size.
Cons: Parking can get tight. If you arrive late, you maybe parking in "la la land".
Not too many amenities and the pool is average. I like this hotel for a quick night of good sleep, followed with a great breakfast.
