Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express Harrisburg East - Hershey Area! Our centrally located hotel offers convenient access to Harrisburg, Hershey attractions, Lancaster, York and Gettysburg areas. We are minutes away from downtown Harrisburg, the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex, Hollywood Casino, Giant Center and Hershey Park.

I apologize for the uncomfortable bed and I'm researching into your stay as we do have cable tv, and that is why we provide the HBO listing in your room that you saw. Thank you for providing us with this information so we may train the staff properly so no one else in the future has this same issue

Conference support poor, WIFI very bad, shuttle weak

very weak WIFI in room, WIFI not accessible throughout the hotel and convention center, food in restaurant too expensive, ordered oatmeal with blueberries (I got 7 blueberries! really?), rooms adjacent to indoor atrium were noisy at night from bar noise, driver of airport shuttle couldn't life suitcases easily, shuttle not on time. Hotel staff were talking so loud in hallway, we could hear them in conference room. Do not use for your conference or convention.

We chose this hotel because the location perfectly fit our needs and the price was within reason! And I am pleased to say that we got our money's worth! The staff was extremely courteous and professional, the grounds were very well maintained and our room was clean and comfortable.
I would highly recommend this hotel. This will be the only place we stay on future visits to the area!

Broken Air Conditioner

Lobby looked great, thet had a nice wayer dispenser, and tge amenities seemed to look great. We get to the room and it is old fashioned as it seems like a lot of the furniture has not been updated. The room though was extremely hot. We felt this and went to turn it to the a/c unit on max cool, it was on max heat. It seemed to start working and the room was cooling off a bit. We had to sleep to get up for an early flight. I woke up 3 hours later to feel that the room was too hot. Warm air was blowing out when it was on max cool. It was broken but i tried to find a way to cool things down. Reset the controls, nothing. Open a window, it was just there for light. I ended up going to the lounge to sleep a little. There it was comfortabl. The receptionist heard about the issue from me but at the time there was nothing to be done as my people were still half sleeping up there. Seitching rooms would mean waking them. She was goinv to offer free breakfast but we had to leave at 6 to get to our flight which is when they start breakfast up. She did give us some dry muffins though.

Great place to stay for early AM flight

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza to take advantage of the airport parking and shuttle service for our early AM flight. Our expectations of the hotel room and property were not very high, but the hotel exceeded all of them. This place will definitely be our "go to" when we have early AM flights in the future!
