Dirty bedsheets

I got to my room late (almost midnight) after a long day. When I pulled down the sheets on one of the beds, it was stained (with what looked like blood). I was too tired to change rooms. So I checked the second bed. It looked clean enough so I slept in that one.
When I told the desk clerk in the morning and showed him the picture, all he said was “eeew. I’m sorry”. And that was it. He made no attempt to rectify the situation.
Overall the hotel was ok. Breakfast was decent, but I was quite disappointed with the lack of cleanliness or customer service.

Not a Good Stay

I have stayed at several hotels the last 2 years and this has been the worst.
First I get there to check on and my room is not ready, they said maybe about an hour and said they have had a lot of people check out, yet it was late day past check in time…there were also other people waiting. They didn’t offer to store my bags so had to take all my belongings back to the car. I returned and they act like they don’t remember. In the morning I am getting ready and no blow dryer…called the front desk and they said one is supposed to be in the room, not there. Dawn said well I can get you one at 0730, not good I had to be at work. She said well there is nothing I can do for you we are full come back at 0730. I asked why would they not have extras…she again said ma’am there is nothing I can do for you, you have to wait and plus she said she was the only one there. She was not polite when speaking to me. I had to put my hair up and wet…it was cold ah windy on this day. Go down to check out I once again complained and she acted like she didn’t just speak to me. I voiced my unhappiness and instead she says did you have coffee or breakfast. While checking out I asked for an electronic receipt, and never received one.
Will not book this hotel again!

NEVER AGAIN!

Attempting to obtain receipt for corporate expense reconciliation. Receipt not available in online profile. Called hotel 6 times. Was told they were too busy. Was told they tried. Hung up on. Placed on hold for 29 minutes when requested to speak to property manager. Call terminated after waiting!!!! Finally called customer service line overseas. Over 2 hours to obtain a simple receipt. 100% worst front desk service. Left message for manager, no call back yet.

Not as clean as I’d hoped, pool closed not told

The pool was closed, we weren’t told at all. Had to find out ourselves when we went to use it. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. It had other peoples hair everywhere and dust all over. The bed were clean but the floors weren’t. Dust everywhere

So much potential, being a relatively new hotel, but I believe that staffing issues impact the full delivery of a perfect experience, with cleanliness issues (e.g., room and breakfast area), missing items in the breakfast area or things not working all around.

Wasn’t aware of pool closure until we arrived

I booked this hotel because of the pool. I brought my kids with me from NY and we were looking forward to it so that sucks. The breakfast wasn’t the best but it wasn’t horrible. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. There was dust and other people’s hair in the corners. Overall I’m not sure I’d stay here again. Plus I won point and they never added them!

Mattress too hard

We had issues with both the street noise while sleeping and an incident with the Astrea Rooftop. We were not informed in advance and it made the evening frustrating and disappointing.
