The hotel is ok but the bed was not good. One reason I always stay at Holiday Inn is the quality of the beds (generally semi-firm; “hotel mattress”), this one was so soft I felt like a banana all night… last time at this one for me. I will be looking for alternate Holiday Inn close by.

I was appalled the way they treated me as a platinum rewards status holder. After staying over a month I was told they're won't extend my reservation because they're sold out and "try back next week" not given any sort of assistance even being a platinum rewards member. Unheard of as someone who holds highest rewards statuses at all major hotel brands.and inquired on websitethat they had rooms available.the front desk phones didn't work for a week so reaching anyone was impossible. 1 day the fire alarm went off for 3 hours no compensation was offered. Ihg states no blackout dates for points usage they they refused to honor points on Friday or Saturday. Tvs in room not working properly, hot water was cold. Constantly had billing and payment issues I was treated was my fault. Overall unpleasant stay.

My wife and I always have enjoyed staying at Holiday Inn Express hotels, with very few exceptions. However, our recent stay at the Nashville Airport facility was a huge disappointment and this facility is one where we won't ever stay again. Why? Well, not because of the room comfort, or the cleanliness, or the breakfast variety, or the overall value, or the sleep quality, or the ability to relax; rather it was because of the horrible Wi-Fi service and the staff's complete ignoring of our concerns. Let me explain that while on our winter vacation, my wife suffered a heart attack and required open heart surgery to repair two major blockages. It was on our way home from that vacation, which had to be extended by a month because of her illness, that one of the Holiday Inn Express hotels where we stayed was the Nashville Airport. We anticipated being able to establish some communication with medical providers via the internet, but not with the WI-Fi at the Nashville Airport Holiday Inn Express, BECAUSE IT DIDN'T FUNCTION AT ALL! When able to log on -- only after a prolonged period of trying -- it stayed active for no more than a minute or so and then went down! Multiple attempts to stay online were unfruitful. So I called "Member Services" to seek assistance. The response: "Well, just log off and keep trying!" I said i had tried that, on numerous devices, but nothing worked. "Well, just log off and try again." Member SERVICES??? So, for us, NO MORE STAYS AT HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS NASHVILLE AIRPORT, ever! There are too many places out there with 21st Century internet services to waste time at the archaic Holiday Inn Express Nashville Airport!

The power went out for over 12 hours due to a storm the hotel had no back up generators. My self and two others in my party had to relocate for our last night. The manager Mr. Young advised that we would be refunded everyone in my party got their refund notice. But I did not. I called front desk Tracy Washington advised me that she couldn’t even look in the computer for me to tell me I’d my refund was in process. I had to get dressed at my event I was embarrassed .

As a regular IHG customer, I hardly know where to start with what has been one of the worst Hotel and Customer Service experiences we have received. We have booked IHG in the last 2 years at Southsea, twice. Portsmouth, twice. Edinburgh (Leith) Glasgow, York and 3 times at Blackpool, the last being the one which was an absolute shambles and unprofessional. We turned up, as we have the previous times at 2.45 to be told the room we booked was not dog friendly so we would have to wait. 10 minutes later, the receptionist stormed over to us in the bar area and said “You have two dogs so you can’t stay here!” then stomped off again. I followed her back to the reception and explained we have stayed with 2 dogs twice as they are very small Yorkshire terriers and he staff have sometimes charged us and sometimes they have not but we always say we have a dog, as we did here. She refused to even look at me so I looked up their pet terms and conditions and no where did it say no more than one dog in a room. I showed her my phone with the terms and conditions on the but she refused to look and said the manager is printing off their terms and will be out in a moment. He never showed. We had been there for 40 minutes now, the heat inside the building was very high so my wife had to keep taking the dogs out. I went back to reception again but Freya was having none of it, refusing to discuss it and just being very rude really. Eventually a young man called Duncan I think came out and tried to explain to me the pet policy. He had no idea himself. He said Hotels have the right to change their policies at every time and every holiday Inn is different. I explained that I understood they had different owners as such but the ethic of Holiday Inn is what makes them different to the rest. (We use to stay at the Elsewhere in Blackpool before they built this ) I showed him their own website where it said nothing about only one dog to a room. He said we need to book a room each for two dogs. That is just laughable, our dogs are so small we could have smuggled them in in a bag and they would never have know but we run a hotel of 11 rooms ourselves and prefer honesty. When he could no longer explain or reason with us as to where it says one dog a room, he suggested we booked by booking.com in the future as it says it on there. I just looked at him in disbelief! I am an IHG loyalty customer and would not dream of using Booking dot com as the charges for the hotel are as much as 30% which is why we book direct. In the end he gave un and let us stay as we are “Loyal!” customers he said. After fiddling about for a while he managed to give us the same room we had originally booked and was told we couldn’t have dogs in that room by Freya! Almost an hours wait for the same room we booked, what an absolute shocker. Then Freya capped it all off by giving a nasty grunt and saying “Well I am going to charge you for both dogs!” then proceeded to write a very patronising smiley face on our guest card. I have never know such poor customer service from a front of house member in my life. She was just rude and was laughing as we walked off. Unbelievable. All we did was book the same hotel for the third time in less than a year and we have never had a problem at all until we came up against the customer prevention officer known as Freya. We were in the bar that evening and some members of staff came up to pet the dogs as they recognised us and when we told them we can’t come back they were horrified! We explained why and when we mentioned Freya to them they both rolled their eyes and said they weren’t surprised as she was not popular amongst the other staff. That made sense as we have had no problems at all in any Holiday Inn with our two tiny dogs and have never left a mess. My wife even strips the beds and cleans the shower and screen as we know how nice it is when customer do that for us.
If the Holiday Inn Blackpool want to make a one dog per room policy I understand that but sharing this on their website would help when people book. We will give Blackpool a miss we think as it was really a nightmare experience but from our 30 years in Hospitality, I really would suggest Freya goes on a customer service course and keeps her personal feelings away from her job.

Southern traditions and contemporary customs come together at the Hotel Indigo® Hattiesburg to create an energetic vibe that can be only found in Hub City. The hotel's industrial chic design gives a nod to the city's timber and railroad heritage, with light fixtures inspired by train tunnel lighting and upholstery details reminiscent of historic conductor uniforms. Steel bracing and yellow pine details tell the story of Hub City's past while modern décor touches and creative local collaborations point toward the city's future. We've partnered with local business, like local roaster GRIN Coffee who keeps our lobby buzzing 24/7. Each of the 100 uniquely designed rooms is guarded by its own golden eagle statue—the mascot of the University of Southern Mississippi—and are equipped with high-speed Internet and locally-sourced minibars.
The hotel room smelled bad. Like someone had smoked weed in it and perfume was sprayed to cover it up. Then the cracks and crevices in the shower were moldy and had pink water scum build up. Then we had to wake up at 4am and realized there was only decaf coffee in the room. So I had to go down stairs at 4am to get coffee. Got back to the room and the coffee pot had old water in it and stuff growing in it. So then I had to wait for a new one to be delivered. So we missed our window for drinking coffee before we had to run out the door for a half marathon (needed time to digest the coffee before running 13 miles). The girl at the front desk also veryyyyy visibly rolled her eyes at me when I told her there was only decaf in the room. There were only two towels in the room. When we came back from the race, we had to dry off with our towels that were still wet from the night before. In the last two weeks, we have stayed in three different hotels for work and travel. This was by far the worst one we’ve stayed in but it was the most expensive. More expensive than the hotels in San Francisco we stayed in last week and this hotel was wayyyyy less nice. Less amenities and comforts. I will never stay here again or suggest people do.

I have been a loyal guest at hotel indigo Bali Seminyak Beach for many stays, but this recent experience was profoundly disappointing, especially considering its premium reputation. The overall quality has dramatically declined, with service standards and maintenance far from what they once were.
Firstly, the villa service was unacceptably slow, with simple requests taking up to two hours. Cleanliness and maintenance also left much to be desired, and the villa itself—meant to offer a serene escape—was plagued by constant interruptions. During my stay in a premium villa, I faced relentless disturbances: from new routers being installed to cleaners, pool maintenance staff, and IT technicians showing up at different times. This made it almost impossible to enjoy the room peacefully.
Adding to the dissatisfaction, I requested insect repellent one evening, which was never delivered. Apparently, the sole butler serving all the villas (on a property with numerous villas) was away at the police station assisting a guest who had lost their phone. While it's commendable to help a guest in distress, it raises serious concerns about guest safety and staff availability. Imagine if a more urgent issue had arisen at another villa—this level of understaffing jeopardizes the well-being of all guests.
Furthermore, I made it clear that I preferred to pay cash for any incidentals, only to have every order presented with a slip for signature and a charge-back to my room. This disregard for guest preferences, combined with noticeable staff turnover, highlighted the lack of consistency and attention to detail.
Unfortunately, this stay has proven that the property is deteriorating, and I can no longer recommend Hotel Indigo Seminyak. As much as I’ve enjoyed my past experiences, I won’t be returning.
