The Holiday Inn® Haydock M6, Jct.23 hotel is located just off the M6 motorway near Newton-le-Willows and six miles from St. Helens. It is about halfway between Liverpool and Manchester. You can reach both cities within half an hour by car or by direct train from Newton-le-Willows Station, less than 10 minutes' drive from the hotel. Horse racing at Haydock Park Racecourse is a short stroll away.
Visit Liverpool to explore the Albert Dock and The Beatles Story, a museum dedicated to the Fab Four. In Manchester, see a football match at Old Trafford or discover the Museum of Science and Industry. Browse the latest styles at Cheshire Oaks Outlet or Trafford Centre, both within half an hour's drive of the hotel.

The only negative aspect was that the mattress was extremely hard that spoiled the stay. Otherwise up to the usual IHG standards

Good hotel, well located, good parking. However, very marginal in terms of
a. Very limited breakfast spread, not hot dish, only cold.
b. Matress very springy, requested a firm matress - not available.
c. Escellent service provided by front desk upon checkin - I was a long staying guest (11 days) and requested extra storage space, and a ironing board. Arrangements were made very quickly for my needs. Very satisfied.
d. Very marginal on stock supplies of cosmetics - eg. No moisturising lotion available even on request.
e. No other facilities available in Hotel - At leasy gym would have been nice.

Edinburgh Waverley train station is within easy reach and Edinburgh Airport (EDI) is 25 minutes away. Catch trams into the city centre from opposite the hotel. On-site parking is 10 GBP per night and spaces are limited.
Stroll along to the Royal Yacht Britannia and explore the former yacht of Queen Elizabeth II. Delve into Scotland’s rich history at the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, then wander through the cobbled streets of the Old Town to visit the Scott Monument and the National Museum of Scotland. Watch live debates and MSPs questions at the Scottish Parliament Building or tour the Palace of Holyroodhouse, The King’s official residence in Edinburgh.

We had a great nights stay in a very large twin room with sofa bed for my daughter everyone had a fantastic nights sleep - we all loved the beds and pillows!

Newly Refurbished comfortable hotel with free Wi-Fi and breakfast included. Hotel has 26 car park spaces, that works on a first come first serve basis and is chargeable at £14 per night. If you are arriving after 6pm it is unlikely you will secure a space. Alternative parking can be found at the nearby train station. A perfect location for Slough Trading Estate, Heathrow Airport and Windsor
The Holiday Inn Express® Slough hotel stands just off the M4 and M25 motorways and you can reach Heathrow Airport (LHR) in 15 minutes by car. With Slough railway station right next door , you can be in Central London in 18 minutes and nearby Windsor in just five.
Windsor is home to 1,000-year-old Windsor Castle , and on some weekends, Queen Elizabeth II herself is in residence. You can be at LEGOLAND in just 15 minutes by car from the hotel to enjoy a fun family day out. Or have a flutter on the horses at nearby Ascot and Windsor racecourses.

I stayed at this place for buisness, and i was dissapointed. the place looked very rough, the food was horrible,and I barely slept. The staff where quite friendly and served quickly, but this did not compensate for the other issues.

Two night stay

Have stayed here before. Very. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Rooms are very clean and seem to have been upgraded. Though there is not a lot of space to store clothes. It is on a frequent bus route to the city centre and there is a cinema shopping complex opposite. Good free parking. All in all ideal value for money hotel for a visit to Edinburgh.

Fast and efficient check in, room, breakfast all good.
Ten minute alk from Airport Train terminus in city centre. Very well located in City Centre.
Only negative was that there was no value derived from having highest membership level of their loyalty program.

A Central Milton Keynes City Hotel with restaurant, conference facilities, Open Lobby Bar Lounge area, swimming pool, gym and steam room. Our Hotel provides you with space to eat, drink, work, relax and socialise. In the heart of the citys's business and shopping districtrict, we are short walk from Milton Keynes central rail station, served by direct trains to London. Luton Airport is 30 minute drive away. There are high street shop accross the road from the hotel. You can enjoy skiing in nearby indoor ski Snozone.

Well located central hotel close to shops & restaurants. Downstairs a bit hectic with functions but our room was quiet and comfortable.

Intercontinental never lets me down.

I came to the hotel following a terrible pick pocketing incident in Slovenia after which I was left with no ID on me to prove who i am except a student ID. Luckily for the handphone IHG App the hotel staff took me in and took care of me as I prepared the documents to send to my embassy to apply for a replacement ID.
I was able to settle my administration in peace through the use of the business centre and many calls made in the ease and comfort of my room.
I was given the benefits of an IHG member with free upgrade
to a better room and everyone from the reception to the
concierge took great of me during my stay.
It is indeed a home away from home.
