Great Stay for less

Great rate. Great bar and restaurant. Clean rooms. Excellent staff. Near the airport. Shuttle service to and from airport and Dubai mall. Only downside is the speed of the internet. Not able to make calls. Very frustrating. Very sad considering I can go to the local mall and make calls on Tango or FaceTime audio

Lovely location and setting, standards need watching

Good rooms, front office management team responded to problems rapidly and really tried hard to make the stay comfortable. Bar staff, beach staff are amiable and immediately do their best.
Strong PADI Scuba facility, great snorkelling, beach is well organised and maintained. This is the best feature of the facility.
Standards however need to be addressed (maintenance, housekeeping, consistency of buffet service and reservations),
Internet was patchy, almost non existent service around midnight, but good during the day.

スタンダードツインのお部屋を予約していたのですが、ミドルフロアのツインルームでした！
お部屋もベットも快適でアメニティーも素晴らしくとても気持ちよく過ごせました。

ホテルのロケーションもとても良く、スタッフの方もとても丁寧で気持ちのよい宿泊です。
バーの営業時間を過ぎてもしばらく滞在させてくれるなど、気配りを感じる対応でした。

هذا الفندق مشترك في برنامج الفنادق الخضراء استرخ تحت اشجار جوز الهند على شاطيء الرمال البيضاء في فندق هوليدي ان بينانج في قلب منطقة الباتوفرنجي. إن المنتجع الذي تم تطويره عام 2010 يتكون من جناح ساحلي ذو 7 طوابق وبرج الفرنجي ذو 23 طابق وهما مرتبطان بجسرمعلق. تعتبر غرفة النزلاء في الجناح الساحلي مكانك الخاص على بعد خطوات عن الساحل المحاط بأشجار النخيل . أما شرفات الغرف في جناح البرج فإنها تطل على مضيق ملاكا والخط الساحلي الرائع لبينانج. إقض أيام إسترخاء تتشمس بجانب حوض السباحة ذو المياه المترقرقة أو في قضاء الأمسيات في صخب السوق الليلي الشهير في شارع الباتو فرنجي والذي يقع مقابل المنتجع. هذا وتبعد حديقة التوابل الإستوائية 3 كم عن المنتجع، والحديقة الوطنية للغابات في بينانج في منطقة Teluk Bahang التي تبعد 6 كم. سيحرص الكادر الودود في المنتجع على توفير الرعاية الجيدة للنزلاء في المناسبات وحفلات الأعراس بقدرة إستيعاب 350 ضيف في قاعات الحفلات السته المتنوعة لدينا. كما أن المنطقة الحرة تقع في Bayan Lepas والتي تبعد فقط 45 دقيقة في السيارة عن المنتجع. إنتعش بمشروبات الكوكتيل المشهية وأنت تستمتع بمنظر مطل على مضيق ملاكا في Hari s Pool Bar قبل أن تستمتع بالطعام في Terrace Caf وأنواع المشويات في المطعم ذو الواجهة المطلة على الساحل. إستمتع بعرض موسيقي حي في اللوبي المطل على المسبح أو تابع فريقك الرياضي المفضل على شاشة كرستال مسطحة كبيرة. كما أن الأطفال يحبون أجنحة الأطفال لدينا (ذات السرير المزدوج أو ذات الطابقين) والتي تحوي على ألعاب بلاي ستيشن داخل الغرف.

I am delighted with your great review and thank you for taking the time to write these kind words.
Our location is just fantastic, across our garden you are at the beach, around the corner you have the night market with all the hawker stall’s, vendor’s and if you turn around the other corner of the hotel there is some great small restaurants along the road and on the beach too. Bus stops are just outside of the hotel to give you easy access if you want to explore Georgetown or the National Park.
Please let us know when you are making your way back to Penang.

Great Experience

Overall a great experience. I would say a solid 4-4.5 stars. I usually do not stay at Holiday Inn's as I am usually at a higher end hotel like the Crowne Plaza or Intercontinental types. However, this hotel is very clean, the personnel are very kind and helpful and the hotel is clean.
I was here for one night only on my way to China and also stayed at this hotel for my return trip. I will be staying here again in February so that must sat something.
The hotel is located in a great spot and it is a short walk to all types of food. The pedestrian walk out front is a great place to sit, eat and people watch.
I was not impressed by the free welcome drink I received at the rooftop bar. Yes, it was free but it was barely over a 1/2 pour in a cheesy small plastic mug and the beer was not very cold. Only selection available for the free drink was a draft pour or a soda. I didn't even bother to go up there on my return trip for my 2 free drinks. The pool looks nice though.
Rooms are nice and equipped as one would expect from a Holiday Inn. rooms were clean and comfortable but I found the bathroom a bit small with no counter space and the towels wee not that great. Again, I have to remind myself it is a Holiday Inn and not a higher caliber hotel.
Breakfast was great. Food selection was bountiful.
Overall, a great place to stay for me on a short day or two layover and the customer service is fantastic. They definitely want to please you.
A definite recommend.

The building looks like it is falling apart.
The food was uniformly bad throughout my stay. I informed the roof restaurant manager that my meal was cold in the middle and he offered no compensation
