A modern hotel near business area and touristic attractions in Tashkent city center.
The Holiday Inn Tashkent City hotel is set in Tashkent City Park, along Islam Kanmov street, only 4.8 miles from Tashkent International Airport (TAS), 10 miles off the Amir Timur Square and minute from Druzhba Narodov Metro station. There’s plenty on-site parking and the Chorsu bazaar is a 5-minute walk away. Tashkent railway station is 3 miles away, with frequent Afrosiyob trains to historical destinations Samarkand and Bukhara.
The hotel makes an elegant and convenient business venue, with 4 well-equipped conference rooms and free WI-FI. You can host a gala banquet for up to 200 guests, or a theater-style presentation for many more. Audio visual equipment and catering options are available upon request.
You can workout in the hotel’s on-site fitness centre and unwind in the sauna and heated indoor pool. Enjoy lunch and dinner at the all-day dining restaurant on the 6th floor with spectacular view of Tashkent City Park where kinds under 13 eat free, and relax with a hot drink or light bite to eat at the Lobby Bar.

Yes, I recommend this property.
I was lucky to stay in this hotel for 3 nights. Having previously stayed at the Crowne Plaza (another great hotel) I decided this time I wanted a hotel in a better area. The area around the hotel comprises of shops and lots restaurants all in a pedestrianized area. The hotel appears to be new but maintains a classic design. I arrived well after midnight and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. My room perfect (and I scored an upgrade as well). Clean, spacious with a large bath and separate shower and they provide washcloths - possibly one of that last hotels that remember that some men still wet shave :-) The bed was very comfortable however, my one complaint was the lack of feather pillows.
Food was very good quality and the service in both restaurant and lobby cafe/bar was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel and for sure I will be staying there on my next visit to Tashkent.

Yes, I recommend this property.
I love this hotel. It hits a sweet spot of size. Its not so large that it feels impersonal. The staff are fantastic and many of them are people I recognize from previous stays which tells me they have good employee relations as well. We were checked in by Conrad who is so positive and welcoming. Every check-in process should meet his high standards.
We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and both were fantastic. This is an Intercontinental hotel so I do not need to explain how good the rooms are. We never used the pool facilities but it is worth a few photos due to its beauty.

Yes, I recommend this property.
We arrived around 9pm but after a quick and friendly check-in process we were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant was still open. Our meal was excellent and the staff are very friendly and focused on our experience.
Rooms are spacious & clean with excellent pillow options. Breakfast in the morning was very good - everything a quality hotel in the north of Scotland should offer was available.

Not a real Holiday Inn
No, I do not recommend this property.
In my opinion, a Holiday Inn is a higher class of hotel with amenities such as a restaurant, bar, open spaces to relax. This facility has none of that. Even the paid breakfast was pathetic, Bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs was the only option. No cereals, breads or fruit. Parking is $65 per nigh even though there is an adjacent car park that charges $25. The surrounding area has little to offer so expect to be grabbing a cab to the proper downtown part of Chicago.
100% of Holiday Inn Expresses I have stay in offer better service and value for money compared to this place. Will avoid it at all costs in the future.

Yes, I recommend this property.
Absolutely wonderful hotel. This is how Holiday Inn's should be. Room was huge with all the usual comforts. Very nice swimming pool if you have kids. Breakfast was excellent - quiet enough to have a relaxed start to your day with some great food.
Attached restaurant/bar is fabulous with a great selection of meals. Laundry facilities are also available. Highly recommend it and will be back for sure.

Fantastic Improvements All Round

Yes, I recommend this property.
I have stayed in this hotel a few times previously however, this was my first staying since the rooms have been renovated. IHG has made a fantastic improvement with the renovations. The room are truly delightful with modern appliances and a well styled modern feel. As expected the comfort of the beds is its usual high standard. Room was spotless and breakfast was more or less as expected.

Great Example of a Crowne Plaza Hotel

Yes, I recommend this property.
This was my first time staying here and I was very impressed. The entrance lobby is just magnificent. Very spacious and well laid out. Easy access to the restaurants and bar. Reception staff were efficient and very helpful especially in helping correct my booking error - I arrived a day early.
My bedroom was excellent. Very comfortable and lots of space. I didn't get the opportunity to eat at the main restaurant however I did experience the bar area and food. Bar stools are a little short for the height of the bar which makes it uncomfortable to sit at the bar.
I would highly recommend this hotel and would add that it is a splendid example a Crowne Plaza hotel.

Nice Hotel with Great Staff

The hotel is one of the older model Staybridge Hotels. That said, the facilities are more or less the same as the newer hotels. Beds are great. Breakfast was a hit or miss especially if you wanted something hot. Most mornings it was scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes. Cereal was available, hard boiled eggs were available some days and not others. RMy room was partially serviced each day although Front desk staff were extremely helpful. What happened to the evening socializing at Staybridges? This seems to have disappeared over the past year or so. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

One of the best Holiday Inn Express hotels

This hotel is quite possibly my favourite Holiday Inn Express hotel and I say that having stayed in more than a dozen different hotels over the past 2 months.
The hotel is modern building that is spacious and very clean. The staff are fantastic, helpful , courteous and genuinely pleased to see you.
The breakfast options here are better than every other HIE bar none. Rooms are clean and have a proper desk that allows you setup your laptop and work.
The hotel is situated right next to the 5 freeway so expect to hear some traffic noise even during the night.
Looking forward to staying here again soon.

After having spent 2 weeks in regular hotels I decided a weekend here would allow me to cook some nice food and get away from the restaurant scene. Unfortunately the hood fan and light above my cooker didn't work so by the time I finished cooking my room was smelling like a kitchen. No staff were on hand to fix the issue on the Sunday which meant I had to cook 3 further meals before the issue was resolved on the Monday.
The only reason I booked this type of hotel is so I could prepare my own meals so the hotel should make the effort to make sure the facilities work before assigning the room.
Rant over. Not everything was bad. The bed was excellent and I probably had the best night sleep of the week. The little shop in the lobby is also very well stocked and almost acts like a community room. I met 2 individuals who had been staying there long term and they loved the place.
I think I was just unlucky with my experience so on balance I would probably stay again.
