Best IHG Property I've been to lately
Yes, I recommend this property.
I was extremely impressed with this hotel and everything about our stay.
Rooms were clean, updated, and very spacious. (We had the room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed).
The kids loved the pool, and they also enjoyed the not-too-hot hot tub.
We had a large family group, so we used the breakfast dining area for our pizza carryout dinner. That was really helpful.
The staff were kind and welcoming.
Highly recommend across the board. Great for a road trip overnight stop.

Not up to IHG expectations
No, I do not recommend this property.
Pros:
- Kind and helpful staff. Everyone we interacted with was truly great.
- Room was clean and as expected. Love the sleeper sofa option as we have a larger family and can avoid two rooms this way.
- Location is awesome. Tons of restaurant options nearby.

Cons:
- Our shower didn’t have a handle to turn the water on. I still managed it by turning the center, but not ideal. Not sure if they were just hoping we wouldn't notice? Our family we were traveling with had different maintenance issues in their room as well.
- There was a long line for check- at multiple points in the evening. The staff member was doing his best, but seems like it would help if they had more than one person on so it’s not so stressful for them.
- The beds were much more firm than other IHG hotels we have stayed at, so I had a hard time staying asleep.
- The AC/fan was loud and ran all night.
- Our shower didn’t have a handle to turn the water on. I still managed it by turning the center, but not ideal. Not sure if they were just hoping we wouldn't notice? Our family we were traveling with had different maintenance issues in their room as well.

Large, Clean Rooms in a Beautiful Historic Building

Yes, I recommend this property.
We loved our stay after a concert at the House of Blues. This location is perfect for a walkable location when in the area for a concert or show in the Theater District. Lots of great dining options nearby as well.
The only thing I would share as a possible concern for some guests would be the very small elevators. Obviously it is a historic building so it makes sense why they would not be replaced, but I was glad this was a girls trip and not a family trip, as my whole family with kids and suitcases would not all fit in one elevator. Someone who is claustrophobic would likely struggle.

Yes, I recommend this property.
We were in town for a short spring break getaway to visit COSI and the Columbus Zoo. This hotel was the perfect location between those attractions, and offered a great option for a family of 5 with the “extra space” room with a pullout couch. Our kids loved the pool, and the room was perfect for us. Breakfast was also great, and the front desk staff was extremely helpful and welcoming.

Second Stay - Great both times!
Yes, I recommend this property.
We have stayed here twice in the last year for medical appointments in the area, and have been very impressed both times. Very clean rooms, wonderful and helpful staff, and great amenities. Highly recommend!
