At the Holiday Inn Express® Aberdeen - Chesapeake House hotel, we go beyond other Aberdeen hotels to offer the best in both business and leisure amenities. Our location off I-95 and Hwy 22 places guests close to the major businesses and attractions of Aberdeen, MD. Nice and clean hotel but there were problems

The hotel was fine, but there was a baseball tournament with a lot of unsupervised young children running around. They were having races and shouting matches in the hallway and slamming doors until well past 11 pm. I had to call the front desk multiple times my 2nd (of 3) nights and was told ther were no other rooms to move me to and security would handle it. Yet it didn't stop. The next morning my room was moved when I went down to the front desk, and it surprised me that at 11 pm there was no other room but at 8 am there was. That night, in my new room, the kids were pounding on my door so hard I thought there was an emergency, then they ran off laughing and were gone by the time I opened my door. Again, I was told security would handle it. I had the worst 2 nights of sleep I ever had in a hotel that I paid a lot of money for. I had to go to my event exhausted and then drive home after the last night with very little sleep. If you're that close to a field that hosts youth tournaments maybe hiring more security for those weekends would be a good idea. 9 & 10 year old kids (and some younger siblings) should not be allowed to just run around a hotel bothering those of us who are paying for a good night sleep.

A bit disappointed by the quality of the room as a platinum prestige member. If this was one of the nicer rooms, I cannot imagine what the other rooms were like. Not coming back.

Strasbourg is definitely turned towards ecology! Leave your vehicle in our parking, subject to prior reservation, and travel by foot, bike, or public transport. On Street parking spaces subject to a charge are available around the hotel. Our Cathedral, Petite France, the pedestrian zone is only 15 minutes’ walk away. The Rivetoile shopping centre with 80 shops and a supermarket can be found within 10 minutes’ walk. The Congress Centre, the European Parliament, the Council of Europe, and the Human Rights buildings are 20 minutes away by tram.
Finally, do not miss combining your stay in Strasbourg with a day in the best amusement park in the world, Europa-Park. This one is in Germany, at only 45 minutes by car.

Very unpleasant stay

Stayed for two nights with family..first day the ac didnt work. The hotel staff turned deaf ears on this issue.Was very stuffy the whole. Requested for a meeting with the Manager on duty namely Claudie..she refused to meet after multiple requests. AC got finally fixed ..we just survived this stay. Such a waste of money. The wifi in the rooms are non existent so forget streaming or taking calls. IHG should ideally look into this kind of harsh treatment given to its club members. No more words for this pathetic property

The biggest problem was the front desk not being there or unresponsive. Also there was only one luggage cart at check in and there wasn’t any for check out. The was on guy working there that kept knocking on the door when there was a sign outside after we asked for a couple more hours to get ready, he even tried opening the door.

Either you stay for leisure or business our 3 star hotel is the place to enjoy your stay at Paris CDG Airport . We are pleased to welcome you anytime as we have a 24/7 front desk. Only few steps from the international terminals with the free CDG Val shuttle , as well as the high speed train station and the railway station to go to Paris center. We are also close to the Villepinte Exhibition Center and Le Bourget. Our private, secure and paying car park allows you to take advantage of the attractions such as Parc Asterix, Disneyland Paris or Chantilly Castle. Our quiet and confortable rooms offer you a wonderful sleep following by a lovely breakfast! Did you know? Breakfast is always complimentary with Holiday Inn Express brand.
As a hotel night goes with a diner time, our restaurant is open every evening from 06:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

We arrived at the hotel and our experience went downhill from there.
We asked the front desk clerk about the airport shuttle. They had advertised a free shuttle but it was actually 8 euro per person and runs on the hour. She said that we could walk to the airport connecting shuttle and said it was a 5 minute walk..it was more like 15 minutes on bumpy pavement.
We had dinner in the dining room. It was a flat price of 22-25 euros. The servers did not know how to accommodate allergies and the food was inferior...horrible!
Breakfast in the dining room was equally horrible.
There was no visible staff and no bussed tables and the food was depleted. The juice and coffee/tea machines were empty. We reported it to the front desk and they contacted staff to clean the dining room and restock food.

We went to our room to shower and go to sleep due to and early flight. The shower leaked and flooded the bathroom and then flowed onto the bedroom carpet. The drain was obviously plugged. We contacted the front desk and they said they'd send someone up in a few minutes, No one arrived. We contacted them again and got the same message. In the meantime, the flooding increased further into the bedroom area. After one hour, I went down to speak to the front desk manager who finally provided us with another room. At that point we were frustrated and exhausted and had to pack up our belongings and move to another room.
In summary, poor staffing, bad food, poor response time, inefficent management...would not recommend this hotel.

I called this hotel from the road and they said they would give me the member rate when I arrived. They refused to once i got there and charged me $39/night over the stated member rate. I call IHG's national number and they said the local manager was the only one that could help me and the manager would give me a call. A front desk clerk called and offered to give me and extra 500 reward points - at the stated rate this equates to $2.72. I asked her to have the manager call me. The manager never called and they didn't give me any points on the rental - great customer service IHG! It's so nice to be a loyal member.

Don’t Waste Your Money Here!

Poorly managed and over priced! The room was clean up front but not cleaned during our stay, no clean towels, no extra toilet paper, beds uncomfortable and waffle maker was broken! The front desk could only apologize so many times!

As a platinum member, I expected a little more. And I didn't expect to have to complain so much about things that I shouldn't have to think about.

One towel, no bathmat, 1/2 roll of toilet paper. All the lamps in the room were unplugged. Not sure how clean the floors were. Almost every towel I got (after my first night) had long hairs stuck in them, which was gross. It was like the housekeeper got involved in Candy Crush and forgot to finish cleaning.

Almost every towel I got (after my first night) had long hairs stuck in them, which was gross. It was like the housekeeper got involved in Candy Crush and forgot to finish cleaning.
MAINTENANCE:
Cable was spotty and didn't work half the time. The air conditioning crapped out on me. The refrigerator froze everything I put into it. One of the vanity lightbulbs was burned out.

I would definitely consider staying in another IHG property next time. This one did not meet my expectations.
