Crowne Plaza Shanghai, located in the downtown area, is around 500 meters walk to Metro Lines 10 & 11, direct access to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Railway Station by Line 10 and to Shanghai Disney Resort by Line 11.
Dine at any of the restaurants in the hotel, or spend a relaxing afternoon in the café and Charlie's Bar. Either way will be an unprecedented experience for your sense! Circles Café provides International Buffet and A La Carte, Yue Palace Chinese Restaurant offers unique Shanghainese food, and Charlie's Bar presents high quality beverages and delicate afternoon tea.
After work, you can relax in the indoor pool or hit the gym with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, and release your vitality.

Concierge Service - Taxi arrangement

Perhaps it is the same scenario else where in Shanghai, but it seems like getting a taxi in the morning is a challenge.
The bell boy was not able to secure any taxi for almost 25mins when I was waiting at the lobby at 815am.

I left earlier the next day so as not to be late for my meeting, but there were guests fuming due to the long wait.

Regarding the taxi issue, it becomes a common problem in Shanghai after the e-taxi software implementation. Thus it's very difficult to get taxi in city center at rush hours and drivers prefer to take e-orders due to extra incentives. It may take a while to get a cab. In future, you may advise our bellboy to call taxi online, or, we have limo service available with 2 hours notice. Moreover, within 5 minutes' walk distance from our hotel, there are Metro Line 10 and 11 available, which will lead you to most places in Shanghai, including Disney Shanghai.

Room heater needs to improve

Please help to improve the control panel for the heater in the room. As a foreigner we can't stand on that.
Also, please follow up the credit card bill which your frontline staff has forgotten to send it to me when i check out.

1、前台接待貌似不够熟练。
2、最不好的是早餐餐厅的管理，遗洒在取餐台的食物，服务员不懂得去清理，令人不舒服。

Beautiful hotel in best location, room for improvement

Property is beautiful and mainly well maintained. Great location in Rui Jin and close to xiantiandi. Room was clean, comfortable and up to standard, no issues there. Breakfast buffet was complete and food/service adequate.
Let down was the service, below my intercontinental expectation. Staff was not well trained and English level way below, usage of obviously private mobiles in public area. Pool area messy, lockers dirty
Room service took long time and food was over cooked. Not a single dessert available.
