Crowne Plaza Shanghai, located in the downtown area, is around 500 meters walk to Metro Lines 10 & 11, direct access to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Railway Station by Line 10 and to Shanghai Disney Resort by Line 11.
Dine at any of the restaurants in the hotel, or spend a relaxing afternoon in the café and Charlie's Bar. Either way will be an unprecedented experience for your sense! Circles Café provides International Buffet and A La Carte, Yue Palace Chinese Restaurant offers unique Shanghainese food, and Charlie's Bar presents high quality beverages and delicate afternoon tea.
After work, you can relax in the indoor pool or hit the gym with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, and release your vitality.

Hong Kong is a vibrant city that hosts a wide variety of exhibitions and events throughout the year, covering industries like finance, technology, AI, and more. These gatherings offer excellent opportunities to expand your knowledge, discover new business ideas, and connect with like-minded individuals. Attending these events allows you to meet new friends, exchange valuable insights, and potentially find new business partners making it an ideal place for both personal and professional growth.
It’s also a fantastic shopping destination, thanks to its favorable tax policies, where you can find affordable alcohol for wine lovers like me. The city offers a plethora of activities: hiking, boat cruises, horse racing, and countless sports to keep you active whether you’re working out or just carrying heavy shopping bags. When it’s time to relax, you can hang out at cool bars or clubs filled with open-minded, culturally diverse people. Plus, Hong Kong's small size makes it easy to get around, with everything nearby perfect for exploring without the hassle.
One of my favorite hotels to stay at during my visits is the InterContinental Grand Stanford. It’s one of the hotels I choose almost every time I visit Hong Kong, especially since it’s located in the TST area on the Kowloon side. I wish they would open another one on the island side in the future! One of the main reasons I prefer staying here is the stunning view of Hong Kong Island, which is truly breathtaking. Additionally, the value offered by the InterContinental is excellent like the (4 PM check-out for Ambassador members) which is perfect for someone like me who needs to work according to US time zones. It allows me to get enough sleep and relax. make sure you Join IHG member
The rooms are very comfortable and clean, even though the hotel has been around for quite some time. The decor has remained consistent since my first visit, which I appreciate. The staff always offer a warm welcome and make you feel at home every time you return maybe because I stay here so often! Of course, there are occasional moments that aren’t perfect, but overall, everything remains at a high standard, so it’s no big deal for me.
Club InterContinental offers an exclusive experience, making you feel like a valued guest. The staff’s warm hospitality ensures you enjoy every moment of your stay.

There are also some staff members I would like to particularly mention. For instance, Louise, Faye, Chloe, and all the club lounge team truly stand out. The hall boys and housekeeping staff are exceptionally kind, friendly, and always greet you with a warm smile especially when you engage in a friendly conversation with them. Their genuine warmth and attentiveness create a welcoming atmosphere, making your stay not only comfortable but truly memorable. Their dedication and kindness truly enhance the overall experience, leaving a lasting impression of hospitality and care.

I would like to sincerely thank the team at InterContinental Hong Kong for another fantastic stay. It’s always a pleasure to return. My room offered a breathtaking skyline view, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the loyalty recognition was once again much appreciated.
The Club Lounge was a true highlight — an excellent offering with high-quality selections and impeccable service. A special thank you to Alex at the Club Lounge for his attentive and thoughtful care, even remembering my drink preferences, which made the experience feel even more personalised.
I’m already looking forward to my next stay in August. One small suggestion — it would be wonderful if the loyalty drink vouchers for Diamond members could offer a broader selection and be redeemable in more outlets, as the current choice in the lobby bar felt a little limited.
Overall, another memorable and luxurious experience — thank you once again!

Everything is great except

I had a good stay except there is no TVB - the number 1 tv station in HK by far. I was planning to watch TV at night but TVB was not available. so i had to just play with my phone instead.

Nice Harbor View

The best part of the stay was the nice harbor view. The room was in good size and clean. Liz Wong from the maid service was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The only problem was the bathroom lock. One time it was stuck and couldn’t be opened easily but eventually it was opened and the maintenance crew was delayed to help. Ideally the bathroom lock should have a bigger ring or handle. Then it would be perfect. However we enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient.

Booked 3 rooms for our family vacation and we definitely enjoyed the service throughout our stay! Their breakfast buffet would definitely be the highlight of our stay, food was great and their service was beyond our expectations! Special thanks to the manager (Black Lao) and all staff (Jerry, geri, thomas, nat and everyone else) for outstanding service and very accomodating people!
