All good for the trip except parking charges

I had one issue otherwise the stay is good, relaxed and accessible to all location nearby.
The description simply says "Onsite parking" which anyone could assume that the parking is available & included for the guests. However, on checking-in I was charged for parking, that too $30 per day.
I could have checkout something closer to waterfront area

I had 2 issues on this stay - one of which I reported on the front desk
1. AC thermostat and broken socket -
AC power socket board was broken , unusual to see something like that.
I didn't realise that temperature set to 75 and suddenly woke up to warm /sweaty. Unlike other places, thermostat is not on wall and no note nearby so I had to reach front desk to find. They helped anyway however, I expect a note or display would help on thermostat.
2. Unusually , the toilet flush lever is so tight that my 6 yr old can't use on his own. I had to help. I forgot to mention on checkout when we're rushing out after 1-night stay
