If you could see the stunning views I’m witnessing here, you’d probably describe it as breathtaking lakes and mountains. It’s just too gorgeous! Pulling back the curtains reveals Jinji Lake—absolutely stunning. I’m obsessed with the breakfast at the lounge and pretty much everything about this place.

I sincerely hope you read this review because your hotel desperately needs to improve its services. I don't even know where to begin describing how horrible our stay was for the price we paid.
From the moment we arrived, things went wrong. We were told our room would be ready by 2pm and that we'd receive a notification. My wife and 1-year-old daughter waited outside until 4pm with no call. When I finally checked at the front desk, I discovered our room had been ready for over an hour! The front desk staff was extremely rude and showed no recognition of my IHG membership status.
The room condition was appalling - outdated, old, and dirty. How dirty? The complimentary beach sandals had visible footprints - they were clearly used and not replaced by housekeeping! This makes me wonder what else wasn't properly cleaned. The wood flooring looked like it was from a century-old building. To make matters worse, I actually saw a housekeeping staff sitting on a guest room bed while video chatting on her phone!
When I called to complain, the first staff member who answered simply said "this is the best we can do" with no attempt to resolve my concerns. Thankfully, the MOD (I believe his name was Cody or Cory) was professional and understanding. He apologized sincerely and offered us complimentary dinner at the hotel buffet.
Unfortunately, the dinner turned out to be the worst part of our terrible experience. The buffet was outrageously overpriced for the extremely limited selection of low-quality food. Nothing was fresh, especially the seafood. Another guest was literally shouting about how awful the food was - and they had paid full price! I ended up just eating plain rice because there was nothing else edible.
The problems continued even after checkout. It took FIVE phone calls just to get my receipt (发票), because the first four staff members all made mistakes with my email address. I was absolutely shocked by this level of incompetence.
As a business owner (invited by 招商局 to explore opportunities in Sanya), I expect certain standards. This hotel clearly hires inexperienced, untrained staff with no understanding of hospitality. I will never recommend this property to anyone - not friends, family, colleagues, or even strangers.
This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had, and it's completely unacceptable for what's supposed to be an InterContinental property.

Stayed there for several times. They offer a great buffet at the all day restaurant as the lounge's happy hour. Food is always good, both happy hour and breakfast. I love that the you can flip the TV in room. Service is ok but never have a doorman help with luggages. There is no pool and the gym has limited equipments. Walk distance to several shopping malls and the SHA airport and train station.

My family absolutely love the morning breakfast, especially the noodle station. The chef on weekdays does a great job, catered to my dad's vegetarian diet. The chef on the weekend (Saturday 26/4) seems like a part timer, she cannot even remember the orders and got it wrong.
The check in experience was great. Teresa answered every question that we had and always had a smile on her face.
The room is big and clean. Only area to fuss-shower area combines with bath tub. For elderly , climbing in and out of the bath tub was very challenging for them. Kindly avoid family room if traveling with elderly.
