Nice comfortable suite good quality bathroom,only slight downside was the room was under the bar/social area so there was some noise issues regarding what sounded like items being moved .

Everything about this hotel is perfect. A reasonable bus ride from tegel airport with a 10 minute walk from Alexanderplatz to the hotel. Checked in immediately to a wonderful cosy room. The rooms are smaller but when it's so cold in January , it was very welcome. The shower is great! Yes and coffee facilities and the bed is firm with a great sleep quality. The hotel has taxis on tap for you too.
One area for the hotel to review, housekeeping comes far too early in the morning! And comes back 15 mins later. Maybe we are just later sleepers!

I had stayed here previously and had a good experience. I booked 3 rooms for my family as we were attending a family celebration on the Sunday. This time round was disappointing as though our room was good there were problems with the heating controls, and this was reflected elsewhere in the hotel which seemed to suffer from inconsistent tempertaure control - mostly too cold and subject to strong a/c currents.
The staff though pleasant did not seem entirely up to the job. Several seemed very inexperienced and did not inspire confidence that any problems could be sorted out.
Having stayed at both this hotel and the one in Jesmond I would chose the Jesmond one for our next stay in the area.

Most Holiday Inns follow the standard formula and, rightly or wrongly people have limited expectations from them. The Manchester hotel opened in Spring 2016 and I've stayed there frequently ever since. What sets it is apart is the helpfulness and can-do attitude of the staff, especially Front Desk. On the rare occasion something hasn't been right the team has responded very quickly and always resolved the problem. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and that personal touch sets them apart no matter if you're an occasional or frequent visitor.
For the price and excellent location you can't do better. I've stayed in all the alternatives in the area but always choose this one.

I enjoyed most of my stay at the Manchester Holiday Inn. My meal was delicious and room service was delivered in 15 minutes. The £5 charge for delivering it was expensive though. The room was spotless and had a good view of the canal

Like all Hotels, a tray charge will apply to all Room Service orders delivered to a guest bedroom. For those guests, however, that may wish to avoid this charge, then we do operate a 'take in' menu, which allows our guests to order food but come and collect their order when ready and take back to their room. This new offering is popular with our guests and perhaps on a future visit, you may wish to consider this option.
