I have stayed in the hotel approx 6 times and this is the first time i have not enjoyed my stay.
To serve fish or any other food that smells disgusting i think is unacceptable and there is no excuse for this happening.
My bill for this meal was adjusted which i was happy with unfortunately my evening do go as planned

I felt in some ways like i was staying at the crossroads motel, because of the quaintly 70's feel to the place. i liked that kooky feel though and the staff were absolutely excellent, proper north east welcome and really wanted to help, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. .
Being constructive i think better lighting at roadside and the above reception Holiday Inn sign could be more visible from the extensive car park

Wir hatten ein ruhiges, großzügiges Zimmer mit King-Size-Doppelbett, das allerdings für meinen Geschmack zu weich war. Die indirekte Beleuchtung hätte heller sein können, uns hat eine Lampe in der Mitte der Zimmerdecke gefehlt. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sehr gut ausgestattet: Minibar-Kühlschrank, Safe, Dusche-Wanne-Kombination. Der Wasserhahn war allerdings wegen der Duschabtrennung etwas schlecht zu erreichen.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig, vom kompletten englischen Frühstück über frisch gebackenes Brot und diverse Sorten Tee und Kaffee bis zum Müsli mit Frischem Obst und frischen belgischen Waffeln zum Selberbacken blieben keine Wünsche offen.
Das Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant - am Wochenende reserviert die Rezeption gerne einen Tisch, was auch unbedingt anzuraten ist - war ausgezeichnet.

Es un hotel con una ubicación perfecta, muy bien comunicado. El personal es magnífico, muy amables y dispuestos a ayudar en todo. Limpieza adecuada y desayuno correcto.
Si algún día no necesitas que limpien la habitación y avisas en recepción, te invitan a una bebida en el bar, nos encantó esta iniciativa.
