This hotel is ideally located. Has lots of parking and the lobby and breakfast areas are inviting and cozy. The staff are all great as well! We got a suite and we're thankful for the extra space. The evening reception especially was a surprising treat and the morning breakfast was plentiful and had lots of variety.
The biggest negative for us was the carpet, furnishings and lack of maintenance in our room. When we got to the room and settled in we noticed that there were flecks of white paint all over the bathroom floor. We looked up and it was the ceiling that was peeling from steam/water damage and was dropping onto the floor. We had already settled into the room and didn't want to move rooms but it was pretty disappointing to see that maintenance hadn't attended to this issue sooner.
The furniture in the room (couch and chair) were very old, cushions were flat, looked very worn and used. I wouldn't sit on either until I asked the desk for some sheets so I didn't feel like I was sitting on 20 years of crud.
Overall, our stay was good. With some updates and maintenance/renovation this would be our top pic for a hotel when in the burlington/oakville area.
