Worst stay in DC

Poor Service and staff didn't help us fix this issue at all. I do not wanting to bad mouth Holiday Inn because I have stayed in hundreds of these rooms all of this country. This one is the worst by far and It was sad for my wife, daughter and myself.

Enjoy modern amenities at our hotel in Springville, Utah Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Springville-South Provo Area! Only seven miles from the Provo Municipal Airport or 50 miles from Salt Lake City Int'l Airport, and located just off I-15. Provo’s Amtrak station is about 3.5 miles. You’ll spend less time in traffic and more time doing what you came here for. Hotel is understaffed

The manager was an amazingly nice guy. He meant well, but did not manage to follow through with any service requests. I believe it was because he was overwhelmed. We were there a week and he appeared to be the only person manning the desk he entire time. He also was the only person who did anything for us. Including giving us new towels and refilling the soap dispensers in the bathroom.

Not summertime

AC was not working in our room. Room temperature got up to 85 degrees. When I called front desk, they said it was not summertime and AC would not work. They moved us into another room but I do feel like personnel could have handled situation a lot better.

The Holiday Inn-Bangor is Eastern Maine's premier business and leisure hotel property. The hotel is centrally located off I-95 at Exit 182B, only 2 miles from Bangor International Airport, and 8 miles from Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. The exciting local attractions including Hollywood Casino, Cross Insurance Center, and concerts at Maine Savings Amphitheater offering guests plenty of entertainment as well as nearby shopping at Bangor Mall. Worst stay

Bathroom was not very clean and when we went to shower, we discovered there was no shower curtain. After they brought us one, we discovered that the drain didn’t work, which should have been obvious, had the room been cleaned properly. The explore at the front desk attempted to fix it, when she was able to leave the desk, but was unsuccessful. We were moved to another room, which smelled of stale cigarette smoke and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. It was nearly midnight so we just dealt with it. Won’t stay here again. Definitely not what I expect from Holiday Inn.

Very disappointing for a HIE

Staff was excellent, very friendly. The room itself was very disappointing. The sheets on 1 bed had yellow stains on them and they were so threadbare that there was a hole worn through right in the middle. Black hairs on the bathroom floor of 1 of our rooms. Completely uncomfortable for anywhere, but even more upsetting considering I paid twice as much as I could have paid at other local establishments. I will not be able to visit a Holiday Inn again for a long while.

Terrible Stay

Check-In was a process. Room not ready even after 3pm. Sat in the lobby for a bit. This stay was appalling. The hotel was essentially a dressed up pig...and the rooms smelled like one. Two days into the stay and we had to switch rooms because people were obviously smoking on the premises. Moving, however, didn’t do much to improve the air quality. The construction outside was only drowned out by the noise produced by the in room air system. The rooms were tight and poorly laid out. The first room had a bathtub with curtain, which was fine. The second had a shower door with a seal that did not do it’s job, so water flooded the bathroom floor on the daily. No room service with extremely poor provisions of replacement items like towels. Day 6 we waited 4 hours for towels. No COVID protocol in elevators. 8 days of just yuck!

Disappointed

This room was horrible. The bed looked like it was out of the seventies and so was the dresser and furniture. Small refrigerator that sit on the floor. Tv was small and had poor quality. There was no microwave. The bathroom wall paper was torn around the shower head. The toilet was very low to the floor and the toilet paper holder was mounted to a piece of wood that was mounted to the wall. The patio glass doors had old duct tape left on it.

Viagra and a dirty room

Hotel Nightmare

We were given NO hand towels in the room. The key cards only worked for 1 day even though our reservation/stay was for 2 days. Housekeeping never came even though we were gone the entire day. At 9pm, we went to the front desk for clean towels but were told there were NO spare clean towels in the entire hotel. We were told that they would bring some up to the room the next morning. We had to go to the desk instead and were given 1 bath towel and 1 washcloth for 2 people. The hand sanitizing stations spread throughout the lobby were all empty, only 1 elevator was in service. The stairs had no air flow and felt over 100 degrees inside. The shower needs some bleach used in it. The manager was not available so the front desk staff said there was nothing they could do about all the issues. There is not enough parking available. This is the hotel of nightmares.

Horrible experience

This is the worse place ever. I had booked a reservation for a 2 bed suite on 3/8/21 for 2 adults and 4 children for the weekend 3/12-3/14. I checked in the room on app on Thursday 3/11 night letting them know I will be there after 9 pm on Friday 2/12. I get to the hotel the front desk worker just handed me the key for the room and didn’t say anything. As well as charged my card.I go to the room and it was one king size bed suite. I went back to the front desk and ask her where am I supposed l sleep with 4 children. She claim the people who had my room decided to stay another night and it was nothing she could do and Rico(the manager) assigned me to that room. She called Rico and he was fully aware that she put my family in this room. Since somebody else have not checked in at the time she was going to give me that person however the person with the room was standing right behind me and my family. The other customer was nice enough to give the room to me and my family. The front desk worked said she couldn’t update the system to show which room I was in but made notes and to come back in the morning to fix update the room. 1 hour later someone was assigned to the room in. Not only was the experience horrible but if the person wouldn’t have gave me his room the hotel was not going to refund me the difference they was going to keep my money as if i paid the 2 bed suite. DO NOT BOOK I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK HERE if this is your last option.
