Enjoy Holiday Inn® Hotel's Great Falls, Montana Location Our Great Falls, Montana hotel is committed to your comfort and it is obvious as soon as you step inside our beautifully designed atrium, which features a 3-story, hand-painted waterfall. We are the gateway to Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, and we're two hours from the Canadian border. Wonderful local attractions like the Holiday Village Shopping Mall, Missouri River and Rivers Edge Trail are within walking distance. Our town offers terrific museums that showcase our area's rich, colorful history, including the Charles M. Russell Museum and Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. Great shopping and fine dining are short drives away as well. If business is the reason for your visit, Malmstrom Air Force Base, MT Air National Guard, Burlington Northern Santa Fe, Benefis Hospital and University of Providence are nearby. We feature over 7,000 square feet of flexible meeting and convention space. You'll find that terrific amenities such as the fitness center, room service, Holiday Inn Restaurant, and Holiday Inn Sports Bar and Casino truly set us apart. Our Great Falls, Montana hotel's other perks include an indoor pool with water slide and hot tub. Slide hours vary. Please contact our Front Desk for hours.

A Troubling Experience

This holiday Inn has massive potential with the location and sqr footage it has, but squanders it entirely today. The hotel is run down and old, the rooms were far from clean, with damaged furniture and stained towels to top it off. The staff was improperly trained or incompetent. As simple requests as getting me a breakfast coupon, which I prepaid for, took them 10-15 min to complete. Besides all my complaints, I did have a decent time overall. All my needs were met, and they accommodate my 2pm late checkout (after a manager got involved). I probably won't stay at this location again when I'm back in great falls.

Disappointed

I am and for over 15 years have been a frequent HI Express user for both work and leisure. We stayed at the HI Express Keene 4/21/25 - 4/25/25, and this is one of the very few times I have been disappointed in all of my stays.
While the staff was friendly and courteous our stay was miserable. The mattress on the bed was worn out and bowed leading to constant shifting, tossing and turning, and ultimately getting very little sleep. From our room we could hear every sound and conversation from the rooms above, below and adjacent to ours, and hear every conversation the length of the hallway.
Breakfast was almost as disappointing as our room. Very limited selection and exact same items every day with no variety. We ended up going out for breakfast the last two mornings after checking the breakfast/dining area and seeing no changes.
I will never stay at this facility again, and will advise anyone who is going to Keene to stay elsewhere.

No Hot Water

I woke up to no hot water in the room. I called the front desk and was told that the manager would call me back. I did not receive a call. I took a cold water sponge bath and went to the front desk to check out. i told the young woman at the front desk that I did not have hot water, and that i did not receive a call from the manager. She told me that the manager would contact me and that she would offer me either a points or dollar discount on the room charge to compensate me for the problem. She took my cell phone number. I never received a call. This hotel is poorly run and managed. I sensed from the reaction of the front desk staff, a lack of surprise or concern about the lack of hot water, that the problem existed prior to my check in and room assignment. This is the way to treat your long term loyal guests?

Clean room and comfortable bed

After spending hours @the Miami Airport on 4/8/25 our flt was cancelled. We had to be home by the next day so I was able to get a flt. out of Fll.We rented a car and drove to Fort Lauderdale. I then booked à non - refundable King room on my ihg app. We had a very long day and my wife wanted to make sure we had a King Bed Room. When I arrived at this hotel I went to the front desk to check in.There was no one at the desk so I walked around the lobby looking for the clerk. I walked back to the front desk and a short time later she came out on the phone. She then got on the computer while still on the phone like she was making a reservation. I waited several minutes until she got to me. When I told her my name she didn't know that I had à reservation. She found it and said that we would have to take a Queen room.I told her that my reservation was for a King room.She said they overbooked on King Rooms for the night.I then told her I was a Platinum Elite member and did they have any other type rooms open.She said that was all they had.She then said that happens often and for my status I could get a free bottle of water or 500 points.Apparently even though I had this reservation ,the room availability was still showing because they hadn't taken it off the ihg app. I didn't receive an Email or text before I got there to give me this info. I called ihg cust serv. that night and they said that the hotel mgr.would definately be in touch the next day. That was on 4/9/25 and I have not received any contact from them to date.There were many other hotels avail. that night that had our room type avail. in the area but I didn't know we didn't have our room until getting to the hotel. They also had signs up entering their garage that said complimentary parking.When I received my bill I was charged for parking.

Very poor first impression

Upon arrival to a Non-Smoking facility, we had to go through a wall of cigar and cigarette smoke to get to the front door. I voiced my option to the front desk clerk about allowing smoking beside the front door where my family had to walk through to reach the hotel. Since we were unloading our vehicle it also took on the smell of stale smoke. The attendant replied to my concern with “that’s the way it has always been”

Comfortable bed horrible service

We had a group with 5 rooms and 4 out of 5 were dirty. One room had feces on toilet and was supposedly cleaned twice however we had to show them were it was. Breakfast area was a mess and lady couldn't keep up. We had to take our grandkids from pool due to older kids jumping on them when there wasn't supposed to be jumping in the pool which was small, we called from our phone and went to desk with no avail. Definitely would stay elsewhere!

Showing its age and a little overpriced.

The hotel was very large but could not accommodate my request of first floor room. The room was really outdated and not worth the price I paid and not being able to give me a receipt at the end of my stay due to being out of ink seems a bit strange. Then not emailing me a receipt after asking is very disrespectful as these things are part of running a business and when customer service is the part of your business the little things really help people possibly overlook certain other things like outdated rooms.
