Falling apart. Stingy.

The best way to describe this place is “stingy & on its last legs”. While the location is beautiful and enjoyable, it’s time this hotel stops using location as a crutch for a ramshackle property. The amount of fall apart, dilapidated things was astounding. There was no designated chairs or umbrellas on the beach for IHG patrons, and yet they considered themself a beach resort. Getting enough towels and wash cloths was like pulling teeth and when you did finally get them, most were yellowed, old and fraying. Overall the staff seemed friendly but very few staff in general. Overall, this place needs a major face lift and to rethink how they make guests time at the beach more of a vacation and less of a business transaction.

Pésima estadía

Llegué a la habitación asignada y olía de manera muy desagradable, tipo barniz. La recepcionista Isabel la única que me trató con amabilidad corroboró varias habitaciones y todas olían igual hasta que me asignó una. Al otro día en el desayuno demoró más de 15 minutos en acercarse un mesero para poder pedir café, por lo mismo se me hizo tarde para desayunar y quería vasos para llevarme el café y té, no había ningún mesero para pedírselo y me paré a la barra donde me dieron dos con mala cara, les pedí las tapas y de igual manera con mala cara me las dieron, comenté que no le quedaban y me dijo la cajera que no podía darme de los otros porque tendría que cobrármelos a lo cual le dije que si, el mesero trató de intervenir pero la señora de mala manera repetía que no podía porque se los iban a cobrar, a final de cuentas dejé el café y el té que no me tome . Ese mismo día pedí una secadora pues no servía e hicieron caso omiso, pedí hablar con algún gerente la cual se comunicó casi 12 horas después del incidente del restaurante, de igual manera le comenté lo de la secadora y no me la cambiaron hasta el otro día que le volví a decir a la camarista. Por último hice uso del beneficio del late check out y pedí poder salir a las 3 porque terminé tarde una reunión y quería ir al gym lo cual también se me negó y haciéndome un favor me dejaron salir 2:30pm. Es la segunda vez con una mala experiencia de todas las noches en la cadena y curiosamente tbm en Jalisco, la primera en GDL y nunca hubo ninguna retro de mi queja. Muy mal que no tengan a personal capacitado y me hayan hecho pasar esos momentos desagradable, no regresaré a ese hotel en mis próximas venidas a Vallarta

I liked the hotel but had an unfortunate experience with mosquitoes or bugs in my room. I inspected the AC unit and saw that it was not properly mounted, giving an entry point for insects. I was staying in room 408.

The closest hotel to Inner Harbor!

Poor Customer Service

The customer service and attentiveness of request to clean my room were consistently ignored. The front desk staff were rude and treated me as though I was a nuisance when I requested towels and room cleaning.
They never cleaned my room and when they did come to my room all they did was empty the trash, nothing else.

West of Houston and Katy, our hotel's location brings guests close to the fun of the big city while avoiding the crowded atmosphere. The Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Brookshire-Katy is right off Interstate 10, close to everything. Some of our amenities include a Business Center, Meeting space, free high-speed internet, fitness center, pool, and complimentary breakfast. Located in Macomb County is our beautiful hotel centrally located off the Van Dyke Expressway placing you near major automotive companies, aerospace sites, the department of defense industries and area attractions.
Business and leisure travelers will appreciate our location to downtown Detroit, Detroit International Airport and major interstates.

Had to ask for sheets for the pull out bed and towels. The lady said I had to go get them, as I was ready for bed-I got redressed to go to the front desk. Then when we went to use the towels someone’s hair was all over them.

Needs Help

The location is great but the motel is lacking! The overall feel is that it’s one bad storm away from falling apart. The carpets are all going bare in the hallways and there were AC grates falling off of the building from above one of the pools. In our bathroom the door hit the toilet as it opened. Luckily it was able to slip past without too much effort but still was annoying! The staff seemed friendly but there just wasn’t enough. If you needed anything you had to go search them out. Also wish the IHG chairs and umbrellas were free for the guest as paying 50$ a day for such a simple thing adds up when other resorts have them for free! Overall this place needs a refresh!

The place is mid but does the job

The place is mid but does the job, don’t expect to be wowed but it has all the necessary amenities. Our shower specifically looked outdated like someone tried to cover it with paint.
