Better Staffing

The hotel was fine and met most of our expectations, except for the check-in. When we arrived, there was no-one at the front desk; just a sign saying that they will be back momentarily. Well, 15 min. later the check-in person showed up. We had a long day of driving and hanging around in the lobby was the last thing we wanted to do. Can't recall that ever happening to us before.

Muy mala experiencia en la Expo Carnes & Lácteos 2025, se escogió este hotel por la cercanía de la Expo, pero la verdad esta muy pésimas sus instalaciones, huele a mucha humedad todo requiere rehabilitación esta muy descuidado la verdad no lo recomiendo desde mi punto de vista es el peor hotel de la cadena que me he hospedado.

Not what I expect

For the price of this Holiday Inn, it was not what I expected. First night was OK but the second night of the day hotel staff allowed a party in the pool and a party in the lobby which messed up the entire hotel tracking water throughout. Also, there was a parent use of drugs in the lobby, which the staff did not seem to care about.

Needs maintenance

We stayed at this hotel with a sports team. The hot tub was closed, elevators stopped working, TV didn't work, and multiple people in our group's toilets got plugged/backed up. Also, before we checked out, someone had already been in our room and cleared out the fridge and $15 worth of hamburger patties were missing. The only redeeming factors were Calvin (solid customer service) and the flexibility to allow us to use the breakfast room for a team dinner.

I would like to give a shoutout to Bashayer, a young lady on the reception who is available in the evening. She is very helpful with guests. Now, a bad experience is with hotel policies. I stayed at the hotel for a conference ofthe Saudi society, and we also had a booth installed. We paid a 5000 SAR deposit to the hotel for any damages. But you have a bizarre law. You pay back the deposit the next day after the exhibition ends. This policy led me to miss my flight on that evening, extend my stay in a hotel, which cost me 500 SAR and a new flight 450 SAR. So to get my refund, I had to pay 1500 SAR. Which is absolutely unprofessional and I will highlight this on booking platforms as well.

Lovely stay but wished I didn’t include breaskfast

Everything was great, but they forgot to leave towels on the first day. We had to go to Reception and ask for them.
There were three adults in our room, but the next day they only provided two towels.
Also, there’s only one luggage cart available for the entire hotel and all the guests.
Breakfast was included, but we only ate there the first day because the eggs were awful — they tasted watery, like they had been heavily diluted with milk or water to stretch a small amount of eggs.

On my Third night, I asked for a change of linen and nothing happened since 12 in the afternoon that I went to guest services or the counter to ask for it, on my return at 6pm to pick up a sweater, the room was dirty, nobody clean the room and on my way out I told again the clerks the same thing.., at 12 midnight that I returned, the room was as dirty as we left it in the morning, no clean sheets, no towels, nothing!!!
