Not to Holiday Day Inn Standards

Older property in need of renovation. It’s over priced. Great beach access. Pool areas need renovation as well. Staff inconsistent with pool rules regarding alcoholic beverages in the area. Obvious preferential treatment with wedding hosted. My large family group was told bar and karaoke was closed but reopened 15 minutes later when the wedding guests showed up from a different area of the resort.

At first impression lobby is beautiful and I was excited . Then getting in to the room, inspecting it. Not up to standards . There was sheetrock crumbs in the corners , surge protector broken , decorative mirror rusted and falling apart . The tub didn’t look clean , the shampoos and conditioner . Hardly any place to charge my phone either

We are a short drive from the Mercedes Benz Stadium, Georgia Aquarium, Six Flags, Nissan, Sandvik, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, IBM, and Buckhead.

Great service, property needs work

Property was in a great location but property needs some work. Property was nice but ceiling tiles in the rooms need work and the pool area was horrible- very dirty and run down. We made our kids get out.

Cleanliness of room

Room was dirty used stuff around the room from previous guests. staff was unfriendly, when brought to staff attention about the room I was discarded. When asked for manager to contact me about the cleanliness of the room never received a call or email.

Room was not clean and this location could not keep up on breakfast one day and ran out of breakfast items on second day that I stayed. I called IHG motels to inform them and I never heard bag from anyone.

Apalling bed hygiene

The bed linen was stained. The mattress protector had insect debris. There were two black hairs under a pillow. This was discovered at bedtime c 11pm. There was no housekeeping. I would not sleep in such a bed. I was down in reception at 5.30am awaiting the Manager in order to complain. I cancelled my remaining stay. I am due a refund. I will never use Holiday Inn again.

Poor Bathroom Maintenence

The first room #124 was clean. The room was comfortable until water started to run down from the bathroom air vent, onto our belongings. The shower knob and downspout pulled out about 4-5in., when grabbed to turn on the water. It was disconnected from the wall stud. Also the outlet over the oven counter has a short. I feel the oven and the outlet are on the same circuit, which it shouldn't be because of amperage differences. We were moved to room #310 for the remainder of our stay, which was a big haul of 2 trips for all of our long term belongings. All together an unhappy stay. May give another try for the same room, to see if improvement have been made. Great place, but needs some attention. Also, this app wouldn't allow me to download photos. I will put them on Google Maps Review.Thank you.
