Nice, new hotel

New Years Stay

The bed was wonderful, the room was very clean and the black out curtain was great. It would be nice to have a ice machine on each floor. I would stay again.

Really nice hotel for a weekend getaway

I didn't understand the breakfast bar but other than that, the coffee bar and my room were exceptional. Very classy and I have stayed in IHG all over the US.

Bang for the Buck

Very nice hotel in a great, north OKC location. Quick access to shopping, lots of restaurants, and entertainment and priced at almost $40 less per night than an equivalent hotel in the Bricktown area. A great place to stay if you’re traveling with kids. Lots of nearby places that are family friendly. I’m looking forward to many more of these hotels being built.

Excellent Rooms

Loved the rooms that are very clean with comfortable beds and a great big TV on the wall. No small shampoo bottles and tiny soaps but nice clean soap dispensers and lotion dispenser on the wall. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Clean Modern Concept

Like many chains, Avid offers a casual front desk, maybe too casual as it took a moment to figure out where to check in. This included a casually dressed employee (wearing a grey hoodie) to greet us and check us in. She was very kind and knowledgeable as she informed us that this is the only Avid (so far) and had only opened a few months earlier. She quickly checked us in and off to the room we went. The room had opted for porcelain tile instead of carpet, but it had a texture and warmth that was comfortable and clean. The TV was wall mounted and the largest I have seen at any hotel, maybe 60". The beds were comfortable. The window treatments were boisy and tough to operate, but provided excellent room darkening. The room was compact in size but has a lot of modern floating furniture and power and USB outlets The bathroom was super clean but also compact. The door to the walkin shower was not very wide (I am not wide, but I had to step in sideways). Breakfast features typical cold continental items (nothing hot) and coffee is available 24 hrs. Overall, this place is clean and modern but compact (I assume to keep costs low).
