Close to Miami Airport

The noise level outside is absolutely terrible! You can't relax as you can't even have a conversation as you can't hear yourself! The airport is literally across the street!

A welcoming Braintree hotel with free Wi-Fi near Stansted Airport and Chelmsford City Racecourse.

Can not fault the welcome, or the staff generally and breakfast was ok.
The room is shocking, bathroom was really tatty, as in really run down rather than unclean. The room was tired, threadbare. I had been driving all day and did not have the energy for an argument. But can only assume that the hotel would only use this room when all other options are full.

Because the shower was not properly cleaned, I found hair in it & once I started to shower, I found the tub, shower walls, & handicap hand bar slippery & very slick (as if they sprayed it & didn't rinse it). I slipped & fell upside down out of the shower while it was running onto the hard tile floor & was in pain all night.

Hotel is under construction and pool and hot tub were not available. This information was not listed on the IHG website when I booked the hotel. I would have booked elsewhere had this information been provided.
