The cleanliness of the room needs to be improved specially the bed cover and the bed quilt. Food in restaurants are pretty good with good and professional service, especially the Italian restaurant La Bottega and Azura.

The parking fee is too much for the location and area of parking. One has to carry their luggage and walk to the hotel. The room i was in, the microwave wasn’t working and the coffee maker was broken. Staff at the from desk isn’t friendly or welcoming.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Stroudsburg-Poconos is ideally located off Interstate 80 in the heart of the scenic Pocono Mountains, and just three miles from East Stroudsburg University. Our hotel is minutes from the Camelback Ski Area, the Camelbeach Waterpark and the Shawnee Mountain Ski Area. Just minutes from our hotel in Stroudsburg, you can hike the Appalachian Trail, paddle the Delaware River, or enjoy the Niagara of Pennsylvania Bushkill Falls. Stroll downtown and enjoy dinner at a railroad depot or see a musical at a restored circa 1925 theatre. The hotel is within walking distance from the downtown area featuring an array of boutiques, restaurants, nightclubs, and historic sites. Many Pocono attractions are just minutes away. Visitors will enjoy nearby activities like horseback riding, golfing, canoeing, rafting, hiking, and shopping at the The Crossings Premium Outlets. It is all right here, near our hotel in Stroudsburg.

Disappointing Stay, no hot water!

Hotel is located in a commercial part of town near auto repair shops and I-80 which can be very noisy. Although property is in good condition, we were without hot water for the first day of our stay and nearly all of the second! Front desk clerk apologized profusely, but it wasn't until late afternoon on the second day of our stay that it was repaired and even then, was really not that hot. Shower had mold on the ceiling, phone in our room did not work and outdoor key access to the rear parking lot was broken. Altogether a very disappointing stay at a Holiday Inn property. The desk clerk awarded us 500 points for the inconvenience of going without hot water for nearly our entire stay, but a refund of one night would have been more appropriate.

This place doesn’t welcome black people stay away from here, they will mistreat you with every opportunity they get. They will snick a tag that says having a quiet time in front of your door so as they will have an excuse for not cleaning your room and will come up to your door before check out time in other to make you so uncomfortable smh, very hostile environment. A modern Bromsgrove hotel with easy access to Birmingham, free Wi-Fi, ample meeting space, a restaurant and a spa
Just off the M5 motorway, the Holiday Inn® Birmingham - Bromsgrove hotel is a 30 minute drive from Birmingham City Centre. There is free parking, and direct trains from Bromsgrove station, a mile away, take half an hour. There's easy access to Birmingham Airport (BHX) and the NEC via the nearby M42. . You can drive to the Cadbury World chocolate factory for a tour, or discover Birmingham's industrial heritage at the Black Country Living Museum, in around half an hour. West Midlands Safari Park is also close. The stylish Fairfield Suite has its own bar and can accommodate up to 220 guests, making it popular for weddings. You can host an intimate business gathering or a conference in the hotel's 10 hi-tech meeting rooms. The worst Holiday Inn Express I’ve stayed in

This Holiday Inn Express is worst one I’ve ever stayed in. While the front desk service was fine, the overall stay was not.
The bathroom had clear signs of neglect—there was visible mold along the crevices of the sink, and it didn’t seem like strong cleaning products (like bleach) had been used. The tissue holder was broken, and the faucet was loose. On top of that, the room had an unpleasant smell, possibly from the carpet or rug.
The breakfast was especially disappointing—not only was it very limited, but you had to pay for it, which made it even more frustrating. It felt like a weak continental breakfast with hardly any variety.
Another issue was the shared soap, shampoo, and lotion dispensers in the bathroom. I don’t think it’s sanitary to expect guests to use the same containers that have been touched by countless people. Hotels should provide disposable, individual toiletries for proper hygiene.
Overall, I won’t be returning and I do not recommend this hotel.

There are no multi-room "suites" here!

Let's start with the good stuff: breakfast was fine, cleaning was decent, and the desk staff were EXCELLENT! Now, let's move on to the not good. NUMBER ONE: THERE ARE NO MULTI-ROOM SUITES AT THIS LOCATION! According to the dictionary, a "suite" is a collection of matching things, usually rooms together. Really this is unforgivable. They advertise a "suite", as being different from a "standard room" but when you arrive, you find there is no such thing. I asked the desk staff about it, and they said that I was not the first to complain about this. They let me know there were no rooms like that on the property. Why does Holiday Inn Express & Suites advertise "suites" when there are none??? Inexcusable. Anyway, just be aware of what you're actually getting for you money. All of a sudden, it's not nearly the bargain you thought it was. I definitely did not get what I thought I was buying, and had I known that, I would have stayed elsewhere. On to the other problems. The sound isolation in the rooms is OK, but not great. Depending on your neighbors, and their TV habits, you might need earplugs at night. The bathroom door was one of those huge, hanging, sliding barndoor things. Ours was out of its track, and too heavy to move back. Basically, bang-bang to open, and bang-bang to close. It didn't really close, as such. So forget about entering quietly at night, or having much privacy in the bathroom when you're in there. The entry door interior peephole cover was damaged, so you could NOT cover the peephole for privacy. Finally, there were several holes in the ceiling and walls that had been used for hanging things, but were not patched. Not a big deal, but it makes you wonder what kind of maintenance is done at that location. From what I could tell - not much. We will only return if there is nowhere else in the area to stay. Which is very unlikely.
